You just gave me an idea: you know how so many ASMRtist struggle with capturing water spraying sounds without damaging their mic or resorting to plastic wrap (which results in plastic sounds more than spraying)? What if you bought a mic cover and just DOUSED it with waterproofing spray instead? Like soak it all the way through so the cover itself is impenetrable by water and protects the mic?

that would make the cover waterproof not cover up the holes. so water might still filter through onto the mic.
