And yeah 26:15 when he's crazy balling off the walls. 27:17. 52:00 is the worst, blasted by high volume and wind noise. Always wakes me up when I'm otherwise drifting off lol. The whole segment needs to have volume cut by like 40% imo. 1:06:20 also comes in a little loud.

I see what you mean and have similar experiences, but why do americans put acronyms on everything? :) What you call ASMR is just a natural part of being a mammal (and probably other creatures as well). Nothing special really, an instinctive bonding and relaxing.

Yes, you never want to make him do things he doesn’t want to. Luckily reverse psychology works like a charm. That’s really the key. He’s a rescue and I’ve worked at sanctuary’s with many different primate species so he works for me. If I was to get a pet monkey I wouldn’t get anything bigger than a squirrel monkey for sure.

You're actually right. There are a few forms of grooming, a couple of examples would be respecting the hiearching and grooming those above you, and social grooming, where you hang out with anyone, equals, family etc and groom. The smacksmacksmack the monkey is making is a signal that it is socially grooming and would expect to be groomed back

Well, then you probably shouldn't ever consider adopting or being near monkeys because they do this naturally. They groom other monkeys or that is any other living thing that will let them. Not so much in the wild but, primarily other monkeys. They pick off dead skin cells, bugs or other things like that. I mean, look at dogs or cats. (Not so much common in cats, but still happens) Cats and Dogs tend to lick humans in some cases unless your talking about dogs and that would be most cases. Then again. Some people find it weird any animal has the notion to groom, lick or clean humans or other animals. I know someone who just hates when animals lick or groom people no matter what. They hate it and find it weird. That's also why that person doesn't have pets.
