Lol, as someone with an….interesting…nose. I often feel the pressure to change my nose and the disdain and critique from others for my nose. It’s like people have a personal problem with my nose, like it’s an inconvenience to them, either because they still find me beautiful with it despite their internal idealized version of beauty and that confuses and frustrates them, or because they feel some sort of pity for me at my “unfortunate” nose and my perceived misfortune makes them uncomfortable. Well, I never thought twice about my nose or my beauty, never doubted my beauty until people started commenting on it as I got older. I like my nose, and I know that I am beautiful- probably even especially because of it. but it is exhausting constantly having to bat away people’s perceptions and judgments of me because of it. It’s almost like sometimes I dabble in the thought of having a rhinoplasty just so that other people would shut the f up about it, not even because I dislike it lol. But then, almost anytime I see a before and after video or photo of someone who’s had a rhinoplasty I really kind of have a small personal despair. Almost always I honestly much prefer their look “before” with the big nose, the downturned nose, the bulbous, hooked, prominent noses. So much personality, uniqueness, generations of traits and genetics…erased. Made smaller, more simple, “normal”. To each their own, but it does make me sad, and it makes me ponder and lament the age that we live in where so many are conditioned to resent their own faces and bodies.

this is beautifully written. i have a more “standard” nose but i can’t help but love all the different nose shapes. which makes me a bit dissapointed with my art style which only has ~3 shapes of noses :’) ill work on it. i think “normal” shouldn’t be a thing. there should not be an expectation or standard for appearances that people can’t choose (maybe even the voluntary ones too).

my sis didnt like her vaguely jewish nose so had a nose job which we were all a bit suspect of. but i can hardly criticise i have some moles i got removed and have a gene that causes lots of moles so. we can say love your own look but is our own enjoyment not social? not so easy

depends what ur eating. humans are obligate omnivores but synthetic chemistry can allow even purely synthetic diets if expensive

Not usually as many vegans consume a lot of highly processed food and are deficient in many vitamins and minerals crucial to good health including skin, hair, nails, teeth due to pure nutrition

Just some advice You yourself seem a little bit preoccupied with plastic surgery. Idk its an assumption but if you are, it can be hard to see yourself objectively. Instead of those 3 procedures, i would look into a lip lift and an eye lift. Cheekbone filler would balance out your face too but its not necessary. Your lips are already full so filler would make them look worse becaude theyd be too heavy. Your nose is fine and your skin is very good
