I remember sharing a room with my cousin during college in 2001. As I laid in bed, she worked on her homework; lightly reading. I felt this tingling come over me and never knew just how to explain it. For years, she'd laugh at me. I just discovered ASMR. So, turns out, I'm not crazy. Who would've thought?! LOVE THIS. :)

+Walter Londrie Walter, I remember when I was in a library sitting at a table reading. There was this lady at another table nearby with her laptop typing, and the 'clackety, clack clack' of her laptop produced the most relaxing noise to my senses! I wish I had that noise at bedtime when I have trouble sleeping.

+Pearson 1990 i used to think that too. i thought i was weird and people would think i was creepy if they found out. then i was searching whispering videos on youtube and ASMR kept coming up so i googled it and walah! haha.

I remember when I was in grade school... 4th grade to be exact, in the late 1970s. The teacher would tell the class to sit quietly and read a specific number of pages from old, used text books. Well, suffice to say that I could never complete ANY in class assignments such as those because I'd get so relaxed within a few minutes and then fall asleep only to be chaotically awoken by the angry teacher with a topographic map for a face and reprimanded for sleeping! Then much later in life, while watching an episode of Bob Ross, the same thing would happen repeatedly or when I was in the local library as well. I used to spend so much time in the library or at a book store as much to read and find new books as to be able to experience WHATEVER was happening to me. I only discovered that what I had been feeling was ASMR within the last 8 to 10 months lol... better late than never I guess. Anyways, I LOVE your coupon and homework videos so much but I believe what makes YOU one of my very favorite ASMR practitioners is your incredibly quiet and yet crystal clear and magical voice. Listening to you whisper.... wow. Your voice slays me and my stress levels which is miraculous for me because I'm a disabled veteran and ANY stress at all is a major trigger for me. Your videos help me so very much. Thank you, THANK YOU for sharing your videos with all of us and please continue to do so. 🙂

I like it when I'm sitting in class taking a test then another teacher walks into the room and starts whispering quitely to the teacher sitting down at their desk. I also like it when my Choir teacher passes out Music Quizes, there I am sitting at my desk taking my quiz then another student asks for help, she whispers to them quietly and it is so relaxing!

I used to sit next to a girl in 7th grade(math class), she had a lisp and would whisper to herself while working😭😭😭. I wanted to just lay on my arms so badly😂, I’d often ask her to explain so I could just hear her whisper. I really didn’t know what ASMR was at the time... I’m still wondering how this video is 8 years old. I get so excited when I find videos like this one, it’s so subtle and gentle, less is definitely more for me!

At school I had this teacher and every now and then we would have a lesson were we had to be completly silent. I would simply say that i dont understand and she would come over and "help" and because everything was silent i got huge tingles while she "helped" me. I actually understood everything and secretly did it for the tingles XD. This litteraly feels like she is right next to me helping.

Radical Whiggery what's wrong with divorce is how quickly people will file for it. People give up and quit so easily, it makes marriage a joke. Obviously sometimes you just need to do what you need to do, but as I just said, it seems nowadays, people just give up as soon as things get rough.

When I was in the 6th grade I aced all of my subjects with the exception of math. I hated it. That year my class had a student teacher from Boston College come and visit once a week and offer her help to the students. I'll never forget her. Her name was Ms. Newton and she was my first introduction to ASMR, before there was even such a thing. I remember getting tingles and experiencing a deep relaxation whenever she leaned over my shoulder and whispered softly about division and fractions. She wore boots and a long skirt and she looked a little like Belinda Carslisle from the Go-Gos. So strange the things we remember.

@joshhummel12849 жыл бұрын
timmarlott i'm pretty sure they itch after they're under your skin, but they don't itch when they dig or walk around. They also find their prey by hiding under ground and staying dormant. They detect prey by smelling for CO2 in the air, in which case they seek out their prey. It's super creepy but cool.
