It's good. I'm going to be closing on a house the first week of June. It's not the one that I originally thought I was going to buy, but it's still pretty cool. :)

Yeah I got to get up pre-qualified pretty quick ship hitting the fan and I'll have to call you back cuz I have to recharge this iPad and my phone's down low cuz I've talked to a lot of lenders in there I'm closing in on the real estate right now my time is limited and I have to get the ball rolling so I'll be contacting you back

Earnest money is money paid to confirm a contract - in this case, an offer to purchase a home.

Huh, ok. I don't think we have that here? We have house deposits of 10-20% but I've never heard of people paying extra to secure the house. I could just be completely missing it though given I haven't bought a home yet. YET. Thanks for answering! :)
