Ben saw an eye doctor for the first time in over a decade so like - GO BEN!!!! Then I was thinking - wow I probably could have figured out generally what your prescription was because I have all those fancy eye tools and I've watched so many videos and read so many articles to make realistic videos!!! Let me try, Ben!! SO WE DID! And... well... apparently being a doctor is actually kind of hard :(
HAHAHA I hope you enjoy!!!! HOW CAN SOMEONE BE NEITHER NEAR NOR FAR SIGHTED BUT STILL NOT SEE ANYTHING?!?!?!?!?
Ok we got his prescription: +0.25 Sphere (so, literally barely barely barely farsighted??) with -1.00 C (his astigmatism) at 107 degrees. Well! The more you know!

I work in an optometrist’s office and this made me laugh because it’s definitely so hard to determine prescriptions and gibi is so funny like “maybe eye doctors know what they’re doing” and “wow being a doctor is hard” hahaha she had me dying 😂

Hey gibi! I work in ophthalmology. Often times, we don't test near vision in patients under 40 years old, unless they complain of blurry near vision. That typically starts around 40 years old. Anyway, I loved the video and clearly love all your eye related ASMR videos!!

Wish you would.... I had to go back in after getting my prescription because they didn't test my near vision. I've had eyezen lenses for years and they needed to be upped and they gave me a single vision prescription...

It was the first time I'd been to this place, since I'd just moved, but I feel like they should really check. Just because not everybody needs help with near vision doesn't mean nobody does, and it's a really expensive mistake to just not test

I had just recently went to the eye doctor because I lost my glasses, the lady put up the single big letter and I could not see what it was. “Oh really? You can’t see that? Are you sure? Wow” was her response and proceeds to do the how many fingers test on me I haven’t seen the fingers test irl in so long I felt like I was going blind on she reacted 😂
