21:04 I've never really been into reading, due to dyslexia. Yet your enthusiasm makes me want to read. I've never really read books after childhood, but do want to give it another shot. I've always liked the fantasy genre, so I hope I will enjoy the book. What I do enjoy are these ASMR videos. It is nice to hear you talk about your passion. The cosy setting with the wood, rain, books, etc. makes it all the better. Although the content is interesting, I must admit I did fell asleep the first two times I watched. In my defence, I did watch it in bed with the intent of falling asleep. Thanks for making such great content and motivating me to give reading another shot. ❤ 🙏

I've always been so on-and-off with reading. It's something I enjoy, but I never spend a lot of time doing between my other hobbies, so it takes me a bit to get through a book. The Dark Tower series is one of my favorites, and I also enjoyed the King of Scars.

46 books read in one year, that’s impressive, I’ve only read one and I consider that an accomplishment but I was really compelled to get it and read it because it’s very relevant to our current times, it’s called America’s Apocalyptic Reset by Perry Stone. I like books dealing with current issues, books on history and historical figures and art books. I really enjoyed this video Madi, the combination of light was very nice 👍🏻

I appreciate all the recommendations! I'll definitely check out a few of these. May I recommend the best book I've read in the past year or so. "To Sleep In A Sea of Stars" I'd say it's sci fi with fantasy elements. I think you'd like it. Has romance elements or as you would say some spice, but it's character driven not a main element to the story and near the end of the book. Highly recommend it!!!

Fantasy books are my favorite and these are great recs Madi! Can concur - 10/10. lol. Here are a couple I’ve enjoyed which maybe you might too: The Winter King by C.L. Wilson (though I’m impartial to book 2 🥰 book 1 is also quite a fun time). There’s also Elantris (although Brandon Sanderson delves DEEP - his worlds are super intricate). Also the Affiliate by K.A. Linde and The Faerie Guardian by Rachel Morgan. I’m currently listening to the audiobook of Taken by Katerina Martinez and am quite enjoying that as well (although the love interest so far is pretty bland and they keep commenting on how gorgeous he is lool).

MADI, I LOVED Acotar, but wholy mowly please read crescent city... Sarah has grown so much in her writing, it truly is a masterpiece

I love that you’re reading and reading romance!!!!! This makes my romance loving heart VERY happy. 😁🥰 Have you tried Milla Vane’s A Heart of Blood and Ashes? It’s adult fantasy romance and is SO GOOD. If you want spice, it’s got the spice. In droves. lol There are two books out in the series and the third comes out next year. The world building is phenomenal and the heroine is a top three favorite heroine of all time. From Blood and Ash is SUCH a great series. A Shadow in the Ember is still sitting on my Kindle. I need to get to it soon. I also like the A Touch of Darkness series! I have A Touch of Malice waiting on my Kindle, too. 😬 Keep the book ASMR coming! I for one am totally here for it. 😁
