I have a Christmas video idea. Perhaps you could do a two part gossip roleplay series with one episode being gossiping about the office drama and anticipation of an office Christmas party and then the second episode could be gossiping about the drama that happened at the office Christmas party on the first work day back. I adore Gertrude! I have a "Howard" of my own who is always underfoot whenever I am on the phone. Although you could become famous as an actress, director, writer, or producer, I secretly hope that you don't because we would not want to lose Gertrude, the Library Lady or any of your other brilliant characters!

Hearing her talk about being proud about her new modern phone reminds me of my great-grandmother. We just found a cassette tape the other day in my grandpa's basement and all that was on the recording was her talking about how amazing her new tape is. How proud she is to have it, brand type, sound quality, etc. lol Made me laugh.

Plot twist... Gertrude killed Carol’s husband and set Carol up because she got tired of Carol not inviting her to her parties. Carol went to jail because they thought she killed him, but they couldn’t pin the murder completely on her so she got released! (this isn’t what happened but just imagine the drama lol)

This character and your clothing brings me back to memories and photos of some of my loved ones who are no longer here. You are so authentic and funny. It's so relaxing when you use the rotary dial phone and it reminds me of my grandmother's phone when I was a little girl. I miss her so much. Pretty horn-rimmed glasses, by the way. Reminds me of photos of one of my great-aunts who wore a very similar pair back in the 40's & 50's. I miss her, too. I'm curious if you based this character on any of your relatives or women who your mom or aunts knew back in the day.
