What is ASMR? According to Wikipedia:
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson.
ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.

The whisper test part is phenomenal! If possible you should make a key word trigger video using some of those words and others that roll off the tongue similarly

Any great teacher has felt the pressure before going into class, if you didnt care about your students and your class you wouldn't be stressed Im not in school anymore but I can still remember the teachers I liked, and they helped me in life more than they probably think they did Wishing you the best of luck!

I’m deaf and have glasses and for my whole life I’ve always looked forward to the unintentional ASMR from the appointments every 6 months. You have such a cool niche and it’s cool to see a fellow Brit on the scene too! I hope your Chanel blows up soon and gets the recognition it deserves!

What I really love about your videos is that while you have a lovely, soft-spoken voice, you still sound like a believable doctor talking to his patient like a normal person. Most other doctor role-playing ASMRtists sound like more mothers tucking in their toddler and/or make all sorts of whispers and mouth sounds that an actual doctor wouldn't make. I guess it's a big advantage for you being an optometrist in real life and actually being used to talking to patients 😀

I just watched doctor James Gill's video about the hearing test and felt so smart for already knowing about the welber test 😄😄. I recomend his channel for those who like content similar to what SRP provides. James Gill is not an ASMRist but his voice ia quite pleasing as well.

I am convinced that your dulcet vocal stylings would turn even the most obnoxious sounding word in the English language sound majestic and romantic. It’s the unique accent, the soft speaking voice, and the slight nasal quality of your tone. The combination is unbeatable for ASMR or straight up relaxation. If you knew hypnotherapy you could probably convince the most law abiding citizen to rob a bank for you. 🗣😇😁

Wow I made it early for an upload! I just had my visit to my optometrist yesterday. He’s referring me to some retina specialists I believe, because when he looked at the back of my eye I have more bleeders. Aside from that it was really cool recognizing all the equipment and charts!

Knowing I already have hearing issues makes these videos so much more interesting because find out names of tests.. don't think I've had tuning forks done since I was younger. I'd rather do them than the more modern tests

Idk why I just thought of this while watching this, but a strange video idea would be playing whats in the box, you put your hands into a box, someone places something in the box we can see but you can't and you describe the item trying to figure it out. We used to play it as a fun party game in high school but could be a fun video

@@SRPASMR the team as a whole aren't a team. They just look like a bunch of individuals who have never played with each other before. Maguire as our captain is a joke. £80 million for a fridge on legs

@@will28788 I’d be playing Varane with Lindelof. He’s not the quickest or strongest but he makes less errors. As for Rashford, he never wants to do the dirty work. Just jogs back. It’s going to be an interesting summer.
