MURPHY'S OIL is best to use to clean a natural wood floor. Smells better than Pine Sol too.

No bleach on wood floors - it will dry them out, strip the finish and eventually fade the wood (even diluted). Very dangerous to mix bleach and pine sol - can be toxic if not diluted enough or not in open area. In the 90’s I knew a gentleman who was a school janitor that mixed the 2 in a closed area and passed away. 😢 I’m sure with open windows, linoleum floors, etc, it’s fine - but too strong for my liking. I personally cannot stand the smell of Pine Sol. I use antibacterial products with no bleach. I agree Murphy’s Oil is the best to clean natural wood floors. I also like Method wood cleaner - it has almond extract and smells real good. My kids are in college now and it makes my heart sing cuz they tell me they “love the smell of home”❤ I understand you saying PS & bleach used for generations. 🌷

When women started mixing bleach with ammonia and dying I was like 👍 won’t ever mix chemicals again. I won’t even use two different chemicals in a room at a time. If I need to use a different one I wait.
