Hey Jim, I just wanted to say thanks for making the things you do. I don’t really watch a lot of ASMR and especially not with people’s faces/voices in them but you put me very much at ease. (I’m non-binary, ASD, studying Japanese, a pagan witch, and self-described spooky so I feel like you’re a bit of a kindred spirit.) You’ve made several videos which really punch the special interest ticket. I really appreciate that you’ve made videos specifically geared toward us ASD folks and I love that you improvise and seem to see the humor in life’s strange shapes. I’ve seen you describe yourself as awkward but you come off as delightfully sincere to me which is so much less awkward-feeling than most NT people I interact with so thank you for being you. I feel a lot less out of place in the universe seeing other folks like me out in the world being themselves. It seems that requests are welcome so I’d like to gently request three things: *more Tarot (like shuffling noises/various card sounds and just talking about the cards perhaps?) *more Skyrim lore or maybe reading some of the choicer books/book series in Skyrim *videos where you just talk about stuff you like or know a lot about (I totally understand if this one is too personal but I love listening to people go into detail about subjects they find really interesting, regardless of how well I understand those subjects or how mundane or unusual they might be.) Anyway this is probably the longest comment I’ve written to a stranger in years and certainly the longest comment I’ve ever posted on youtube but I feel like it was worth writing because gratitude seems to always be worth expressing. Great video! ♥ This reminds me of my elementary school teacher, Miss Mabel. When I was in my last year, she would read us short passages of Shakespeare's works and other authors, and sometimes she picked one of us students to read for the entire class. Miss Mabel was a good woman, but extremely strict with her teachings, very old school style, so we were kinda terrified of her. She was adamant about british accent, and althought it was not forbbiden to use any variations, she discounted points if used another one. So, once she picked me to read in front of everyone, and alas I'm more fluent in american accent than british accent, but she let it pass because I was one of the "nerdies" of the class. However, I reached a point where I read the word "comfortable", she stopped me, stared at me with dead eyes and said, "That's not the right way to pronounce comfortable", and I proceded to argue with her for around 10 minutes about how she should respect the way I pronounce the word because it was difficult for me to say it in the british way and that I was still learning. I got so tired of her berating my pronunciation in front of my classmates I grabbed my stuff and she screamed: Where are you going Gregoratti?! And I answered: I'm going to Miss Alice's class, because she's not a b**** about different accents and pronunciations 😄😄 I was called to the principal's office, they called my mom and everything to tell her how "rude" I was 😂😂😂 I laugh about it years later, and even with this situation, I thank Miss Mabel for everything she taught me. Her teachings helped me build the base of the whole language and now I'm trying to polish it the best I can while I keep learning. May she rest in peace ♥
