I kind of get it. I kind of don’t... yes you’ve shined the shoe, but it just looks like a polished scruffy shoe now instead of just a scruffy shoe? Surely if they are that marked and scuffed the owner would be best just getting another pair of shoes and giving these to a charity shop? (Thrift shop I believe in America) just my opinion, I just don’t see the point of rectifying something that’s already past the point of repair... just a thought
