As someone from the US, I find it really interesting that you had to pick out and buy your kitchen then have it installed! That is definitely not something I am used to. I am always interested to learn more about other countries, and I have loved seeing you talk about your move. I love everything you have shown us in your new home! 😊

@@mzywica Sometimes the apartment or house comes with a kitchen and sometimes not. it depends on if the owner wants to invest in one. if yes you have to pay more rent than for an apartment without a kitchen. its pretty common here.

@@FIRSTAIDKIT__ That seems so strange to me! In the US, every house (as far as I have ever known) always has a kitchen built in and light fixtures. The kitchen appliances like a refrigerator, stove, and/or microwave may or may not come with the home, but there are always cabinets, counters, and a sink. You can remodel it after you’ve moved in if you don’t like it, but it’s always there.

It’s funny how we can fall asleep to someone taping things but if we heard a tap on our window or anything in our room we would be wide awake scared 😂😂

so as someone from the us i am curious about the kitchen. since you have to order your kitchen and it doesn’t come with it ones it mean the price of the houses and apartments are lower?

it means that the price for the apartment is higher in case it comes with a kitchen lol so technically lower than apartments with a kitchen but not significantly lower than in other countries with a comparable standard of living 🥲

I'm just curious as Ikea still doing the new kitchen consultations like where they tell you exactly what to buy and you pick it out. I know they stopped during covid. Also if you don't mind me asking as I've been very curious how much did it cost for all the material I would use an outside builder
