i read eight books in april and my absolute highlight was ‘thank you for listening’ by julia whelan. i listened to it on audio, which was phenomenal because the author narrates it herself and it is about the audio narration industry. i loved it very much and i would highly recommend! besides that, ‘a good girl’s guide to murder’ and ‘one of us is lying’ were very good :3

you should def continue with the salacious players club series!!! each book is so different! my fave has been Mercy (which I was NOT expecting). Praise & Give Me More are also really good. the other two fall a little short for me, but a broad range of vibes!

I read Hopeless back when I had no knowledge of the book community or who CoHo was, as my first attempt at getting back into reading and it worked so well… I’ve never read a CoHo again because it’s just not for me but you’re so right about her being perfect for getting motivated to read again

I listened to the audiobook of the house on the the cerulean sea as well this month and thought the same things about the narrator and the children’s voices. I couldn’t imagine reading the book without hearing the various voices from the narrator. It was perfect 😃 and I loved the book in general.

I defiently recommend the author John Grisham. He writes mystery books, he leaves a lot of suspense while reading it.

Your book reviews are so excellent -- some of your words should be those blurbs on the back of books or on Amazon. The details you choose really give a picture of what the book is like. I snorted out loud about the c**t quote in the one book and the character giving advice to use hashtags in the other 😂. I really enjoy your channel, your whisper is great, and the content is always fun and intelligent. As a person who doesn't like tapping, I also appreciate that you keep yours pretty soft. My own preference would be none at all, but I know so many like it So it seems you strike a good balance.

I finished the last quarter of one and am halfway through the next. I'm reading "Different, Not Less" at the moment. More of a non-fiction + biography about neurodivergents, told by a neurodivergent. I'm finding it relatable, even when she talks about being obsessed with cartoons. 😅

Keep going with the Salacious Players Club series! I want to see your opinion on the others lol I’ve read them all plus the newest extra book and I agree about the romance part! I read these for pure entertainment and like palette cleansers!😂 For the next 2 books, the people in them have known each other for a long time so it kind of makes more sense lol but you get some seriously taboo and forbidden situations in these books😂 I also recently found out that this book got picked up for a movie adaptation andddd I feel like it’s going to be pure porn tbh🤣 don’t know how they’re going to do that but okay🤣📚

Girly pop I know you didn’t love magnolia parks and haited daisy haites but pls give magnolia parks the long way home a chance promise it’s much better and you don’t need to read dh the only part you should read it’s at the end of the book (that’s the magnolia tea ) however Daysi haites 2 might be worth the read, I can’t say much without spoiling it but if you like the long way home you’ll probably gonna want to read dh the great undoing and please tell us who you ship magnolia with cause I hate bj and I need to know your thoughts! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻💜

Also, nothing against mainstream booktok, but they don't really focus on writing or a well thought out story line ( that actually makes sense), it's more about the romance tropes, I guess. Which isn't inherently a bad thing, but the overall theme of popular booktok books isn't "good " writing, let's just say that, so if you're looking for books that do in fact make sense and are not wattpad-y, then I don't think booktok-books are usually the right choice yk
