Hey, love the video! I don’t usually look at the screen while I listen to ASMR, myself. But, when I heard you describing people’s complaints, I thought I’d throw you a couple easy fixes. If the camera is pointed at yourself, you can hang a black blanket behind you or if, like most of this video, the camera is pointed at an object on your table, you can lay a black blanket/sheet down on the table underneath everything, point a lamp or any soft light at the object, then turn the brightness of the video way down when you edit it. The black background and lowered brightness will make it much easier on the eyes, and the lamp pointed at the object will make sure the object is still visible after lowering the brightness. You just want a very soft light to avoid glare/over exposure.

when Skyrim came out, i got this game guide with it, and i really liked it, was the most i ever used one. But i feel like it was also close to the last time one was useful because soon after you could just google or youtube anything you needed to know without looking into the book lol

I know this video is a bit older, but I've listened to it multiple times. I love your soothing voice and sometimes I even watch the videos (especially WoW TCG / Magic unboxings!), but mostly listen to them while I work. I'm listening to this one again because my partner has mentioned wanting to do a "co-op" run-through of Skyrim together, and this video popped into my recommended. Don't worry about other people trying to tell you how to do their videos. You do what you want to do and what you're able to do, and don't worry about anything else. There are countless other channels and you shouldn't feel forced to become more like them -- do your own thing.

To me the most important thing in a ASMR video is the voice. I dont care if the background is too bright or too decorated that if i dont like the voice i dont watch it, and yours is pretty good. So as long, you take care of the audio quality (the way you are doing) im fine with whatever angle or background you decide to use.

There’s still time to get into Skyrim, it’s timeless! I have played off and on ever since it came out and it’s still absolutely amazing 🎉 (edit: you’re the only ASMR channel who does video game guides and I think that’s awesome 👏)

Personally I don't mind the bright background. I mostly listen to you whike I try to sleep, so most times I don't even have the video showing. However, if I may make a suggestion, if younever get a chance to have a dedicated space for making videos, perhaps you can give it a more "cozy" theme. It will assist with the asmr. Still, your current setup doesn't hurt your asmr. Your audio comes in really clear. So thanks for that. The position of your camera is fine for now I feel. Personally I would like to see your treasures better but how they are presented now suffices. Thank you for another enchanting video.

I can't speak for everyone, but I think that the general consensus is that we would rather have quality sound over anything else, which you provide superbly. With that said, I love/loved Skyrim growing up so this was a very welcome video!
