I worked at Goodwill for a short while and when we found designer handbags we had to send them to a separate outlet where they sold online for what they were worth I was mad we couldn't put them in the store in a glass case

The Coach handbags appear legit; they have they have the right details, but are older ones. The tag has a serial number. The Chanel looks legit, as do the Pradas, but again, are not current stock. The tote is probably a fake, but still serviceable. You got a great bargain!

The Chanel is definitely fake (and I’m pretty sure the Prada ones are too). You can always tell from the hardware and stitching. You’d never find a zipper like that on a real Chanel. Still a fun bag though and loved the video. 😎

Idk shit about coach but Prada has Prada lining inside so those were fake and the Chanel bag has square stitching which Chanel doesn’t do (Atleast for a bag like that, the ones that have chocolate bar stitching are usually one off things without the logo on it) so that’s fake as well.

I would say that the two Coach bags, the Chanel Bag, and last Prada were genuine and not knock-off. I'm not sure about the first Prada bag. The last Prada bag has Ostrich leather and Alligator. The duffel bag is a knock-off. The pattern is "G's," not "C's."

i used to work at a place called clothes mentor where ladies can try to sell clothes/ designer handbags and i was one of the people to help aunthenticate the bags when they came in and unfortunately from what i can see the purses look inauthentic :( probably why the lady brought them to goodwill

I find alot of designer bags. Real. At Goodwill in Maine. Mainers dont seem to like them. They think they're hoity toity or something. So ...I buy them up when I see them. I have 2 Gucci wallets that I got for $8.50tl. One was 50cents. Vintage Gucci. So if you're ever in Maine. Bring money for shopping at Goodwill.

You really scored. You'd never find a purse for under $7.99 in the Los Angeles stores. Some are even $25 for the clean, name brands, but Chanel and Prada are valued at a few thousand each! If these are the real deal, you got very lucky!

I would think the zip tie was to keep them together. Because a lot of times one shoe might wind up in a different aisle. Don’t ask me why but it happens. If it’s a security thing I would think they would put something stronger than a zip tie. Not sure.

I do know some bags have serial numbers on the inside that you could research. Not sure if the coach or Prada or other bags have it that you had purchased. But it’s something to look into.
