Inspired by Dan, I went to the local cobbler in my nearest town (a family owned shop that's been there since 1916) and got my Dad's black steel-tipped dress shoes resoled. I've worn those shoes for every dress up event since High School (including my wedding)! Now I'll get another few decades out of them, and I never would have thought to do it if I wasn't watching Dan (and Ron and Reg). Long live Dan and Tring!

The amount of effort gone into making and editing this video is just on another level. The way you positioned the cameras so we can see every step, just this itself would likely have increased the job time by 3x. As much as I thoroughly enjoyed this meticulously done video, I did miss the commentary that you give. Your videos have such a calming effect, I often times watch them towards the end of my day to help me relax and wind down.

G'day Tring terrific job that you did on those boots, that sanding and polishing machine is really something love how it rotates to different polishing and sanding wheels I could use that in my workshop. You brought back some grate memories talking about the gym I used to do it many moons ago I 64 now and have a lot of medical issues so that payed way to weights, your shop is tidy and well appointed I have subscribed and look forward to the next instalment. I'm normally not a fan of the Chelsea style boot but these combat/Chelsea Timberlands are nice. Gotta congratulate you on getting 2nd place in an all natural body building competition. It's more dedication than the typical competition because it's all natural. I've always had my toe in the gym over the years so I've learned a lot about it. I have a close cousin who's husband competes in the all natural power lifting circuit. It's a lot of time & consistency what you do just to compete. Enjoyed the video.

Wow. Really a good job! Quality work is a real and intentional thing. Always a pleasure to watch! Dialogue is not always necessary. Some people learn by seeing - it's a visual thing - not a negative IMHO. I saw a news story once about some Asian web casters that posted videos of them just eating a meal, and they were very very popular videos in some countries. Just watching someone eat and enjoy a meal, go figure... For myself, your videos are far more interesting and engaging and creative. Carry on!
