Yes. Protection is always neccecary. And those who say it isn't, or believe they're "too cool and tough" are idiots. And a lot of them are gonna regret having that mindset at some point.

Here in the UK, we call the shoes “football boots”, whether they are SG, FG or Astro. Many other countries find it baffling as to why we refer to them as “boots”, but if you do your research, you’ll see that from very early on in what would’ve been some of the very first pairs of football shoes being made, they were stylised as boots and quite heavy and cumbersome. We have come a LONG way since then and for the better. My Grandad (who lives in California) still refers to the game as “Football”, which technically is correct, but his American friends refer to it as Soccer… Potatoe, potato… Tomatoe, tomato… Loved this ASMR vid mate. I personally always really liked Reusch goalkeeper gloves. Always waited for a discount so usually really good quality for like £80. Pretty good

I have to agree on that one, Reusch has always been good on me and choosing boots is also effective for goalkeeping I’ve always gone with Adidas for GK. But Puma for midfield which is my second positioning.

@@derigreimpavidofbylyx196 it basically requires minimal physical fitness although it is the most important, it requires no ball skill and in school matches, u usually put the worst player in goalkeeper.

70 bucks for goalkeeper gloves is not that much. I play for an academy i the gloves i use cost 150 bucks. But for 70 bucks you can still get good gloves
