I was a big follower of Matt, for several reasons. I am a well-educated, intelligent, affluent gay guy, and I suspect that a great portion of his followers were the same as I -- at least the intelligent gay part. Not only was Matt a very sexy, physically attractive guy, but he also was very adept at ASMR and knew and understood it. His voice and smooth mannerisms demonstrated that he was an ASMR gem among hundreds of KZfaq ASMRers. It was also evident that he struggled with depression, mood swings and frustration with what to do with himself. His private life was his own business, even though he did open himself up to his KZfaq public to a certain degree by just being a strong participant. I think he at least owed his public an explanation of his departure, even if it was nothing more than to advise us he’s taking a hiatus. (If he did do this, I didn’t see it, and I was a very close follower.) He must have either become physically unable to continue, or met someone who caused his immediate departure. He leaves us “hanging,” wondering if he’s even alive.

I'm not sure what it is, but I think it's a combination of the slower speed, distance from camera (appears close) and as weird as it sounds, your long fingers. 😅 Just wanted to leave an appreciation comment for posting this vid. I live in one of the nation's major 4th of July towns...Official 4th of July City in my state but I don't do much. Agoraphobia keeps me from going out in the crowds.
