I’m so sorry to hear how this happened I was one of your students in 21-22 and your class was the best one I took personally and form how me and my friends talked probably just the best in the school, the way you communicated and helped all of your students was amazing, im not sure if you remember but you use to teach me and my best friend Austin about business strategies while we played board games together and those are some of my favorite school memories, I’m sorry to hear your not a teacher anymore but I wish you the best mr.gray

Dang wild story. So sorry that happened to you. Hopefully you'll get another opportunity to have a great impact on kids. Especially in today's world, kids need strong loving father figure. Appeciate you!

What an awful situation. Truly devastating considering how apparent your care and love for the kids is. I know it’s likely not what you want to hear but God has a plan for you no doubt about it. This happened for a reason. Just keep your options open and be ready to jump on the opportunities that are coming! Always good to see you brother.

I've never found HR helpful in any job I've had. They've always been horrendous. They're never actually there for the employees. I'm sorry this happened to you and I hope your next venture is wonderful.

Damn. HR let both you and the kids down here. It’s such a shame that resigning was the only option you had left after so long - I know being a role model for these kids was important to you. I’m sure your impact on them won’t be forgotten.

I hope not. My relationship with my old principal and staff is still great so I'll at least be able to visit the building sometimes. I miss my boys though.

So frustrating that you have had to resign from your post, yet (and I only assume) the kid who made allegations against you gets to continue going to school. Such a joke, no protection for teachers at all. Nice that you had nice emails reaching out telling you how you impacted them. Big love x

That's one of the main reasons that even after I got word that I could return I chose to stick with my resignation. And yes, the student was right back at school.

Some students hated me. But that comes with the territory. With over 300+ students it's to be expected.

There's a huge teacher shortage. I think that's the most confusing part for me. If they know it's hard to find teachers, why mess around and risk losing a full timer?
