Hi Shan-anigans!! I hope you all are having a wonderful day or night! I have been trying to plan and do this video for a while now with all kinds of complications - I was overzealous LOL I had bought the wrong color green before and gave up when I realized I looked more grinchy haha but now it is finally here!
I obviously could not make my nose as small as hers, but with a little scar wax I was able to point it more.
I did leave it pretty vague, not a lot of lore so don't worry no spoilers! And I left her on the more like in love side so she was more nice haha

What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for: Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. This is just a fancy name for a tingly or calming sensation caused by different sounds/visuals that we call "triggers". Most people have their favorite type of "triggers" that help cause the sensation. Whether it be visual like lights moving, hand gestures etc. or sounds such as whispering, soft speaking, tongue clicking and more. ASMR typically will cause a tingly sensation in people that starts at the head and moves down the neck and to the shoulders. However, if you don't experience this sensation it doesn't mean ASMR isn't for you! ASMR is great for helping people calm down, de-stress, relax, helps with anxiety, depression, insomnia and so much more!!

One of the big moments where I realized she's actually really sweet, not only to us as the player but other companions, is when you talk to her after Gale gets his message from Elminster and she says something along the lines of "does she not think he can do this of his own immense power and talent? Maybe he'd die for forgiveness, but I don't know why he'd want it." (Not an exact quote ofc) but it was SO sweet so randomly. Like she actually complimented him and seemed upset for his situation.

I realized it in act 2. when you go to the little shack with the koa'toa just north of the exit to the House of Healing Morgue, she says something along the lines of... "this place. it feels... melancholy." one of your companions, mine was Gale, made a witty remark something like, "even the great Lae'zel of Creche Kliir can feel the sadness of a broken home." to this she replies, "there was no call to be insulting," in the most damaged, defensive tone of voice. really made me want to know what she was like deeper in.

Yeah, she definitely grew on me. And as I've seen someone point out: Despite the fact that the cleansing "ritual" is solely meant for Githyanki she insists you come along to be cleansed. She is incredibly abrasive about it, but it's important to keep in mind that she's literally trying to save your life with the, as far as she knows, only way to get rid of a tadpole. ^ Also she looks like a frog and frogs are cool

I am currently doing a playthrough as Shadowheart, and having a delightful slowburn enemies to lovers romance with Lae'zel, so the idea of Lae showing a moment of tenderness but immediately threatening to stop and leave you for dead the moment you point it out or question her motives is hilarious and perfect Great video

For me she is the best character in the game. Logical, tough, straightforward, smart and beautiful, she grows above herself and can accept her mistakes. In general, it seems to me that she is the main character, because she is always in the foreground in cinematics and she has a one of the biggest roles in the plot

I love Lae'zel. She is my favorite companion in Baldur's Gate 3. I play with my brother so the party composition is me as a human evocation wizard, my brother as a half elf (high elf) war domain cleric, Lae'zel the battle master fighter, and Karlach the berserker barbarian.

Love this roleplay; the attention to detail in the make up and wig, even down to the color of the body paint. The embers in the bottom left hand corner to show we’re near a campfire, and the tent in the background to signify we are currently in Lae’zel’s little corner of the world. She is a brilliant character and this is so accurate especially if you’re romancing her. Her romance arc is so sweet and she learns how to be slightly softer while still maintaining her core personality traits. Overall an incredibly tingly experience. Thank you for all your effort!

Never got the chance to know her character, I chose the option for her to be released from the cage, thinking we'd find an opportunity to free her after that. It immediately went into combat where the two hunters got better rolls for initiative and both sniped her with their bows, killing her right at the start. I'll have to try another approach on the next playthrough. 🤣🤣🤣
