My first Asphalt game was Adrenaline (6), it was fun, then I played Airborne (8) a bit, it was fun. I've played Legends (9) as well and to be really honest, the mechanics of Legends were a let down for me so I didn't complete it. However, the best Asphalt game that I've played so far is Asphalt: Extreme, I dunno why this game is so underrated. It's everything that you need in an Asphalt game, no stupid 360 turns on a straight road all by yourself, no Mario Cart style power ups and cartoonish art style like that of Legends, Asphalt Extreme was gritty, brutal and most importantly a bit believable. And that's why I loved it.

there might actually be a limit to how much fps you can get,besides the fact that we currently aren't be able to reach such numbers ecen with current technology,the maximum fps you can get should be the 64-bit digit limit (or however that's called),that won't grow until we make higher bit in our operating systems

@@marlon.8051fps is only limited by computer power and monitor refresh rate. Nvidia recently made a 360 hertz monitor, so currently thats the most that could be shown onscreen up to date. Keep in mind that fps and monitor refresh rate are completely different

Dominik Gajda Yes There are plenty of police escape missions, and if you collect nitro tanks and hit a police officer while in Nitro, or if you spin near a police officer, it will destroy their car! Fun for days!

from asphalt 4 to asphalt 5, the graphical jump is huge, and from asphalt 7 starts to get post process effects, much better resolution in textures, much better reflective materials and all, asphalt 8 is all about post process, but asphalt extremes starts to have a much pristine look, and last asphalt 9, holy shit ! , amazing post process effects, amazing fx, particles effects combined with photorealistic look in the vehicles and environments, i can't say that much but waiting for the android release

People here who are talking about graphics change, it's not graphics alone it's design and behaviour too,textures and colours blending with reflections and shadows.Asphalt or any other game evolved due to improvements in the game engines and sound effects too also the api that allows them to be playable on small less powerful devices.
