That is one wide expressway! Six lanes in each direction at its widest point, not counting the carpool and turnoff lanes.

Honestly, I think this video stands out from the rest, the music and the video go together perfectly especially at 0:49, nice job.

I have drove that route many times. When I visit I stay in Marietta. I was there when you had the Ice storm a few years ago it took us 16 hours to drive from the Airport to Marietta....That was some experience...lol ...I love Atlanta...Its an amazing city Tony from Middlesbrough UK

It's a worthy road. It's pretty chronically congested though, so it's best on a Sunday morning -- or at night.

FreewayBrent thanks for the comment. I’ve been to Atlanta a few times previously, but this was the first time the connector wasn’t a parking lot during my trip.

Downtown Connector must be Atlanta's busiest freeway section ever. I mean look at the decongestion of traffic!!!

0:07 in the photograph you can see an old section of the road in the middle that was never removed. Must’ve been an old alignment back in the day. (You can see the HOV diamond symbol in the left lane)

In fact, Atlanta is a bad city for heavy traffic just like New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Miami, Boston and other major US cities.
