Asphyx belong to those old-school death metal bands that over years have established their own unique status through their steamrolling sound, which can be likened to that of legendary Bolt Thrower, and Martin Van Drunens iconic voice. The Dutch quartett has no lost even a tiny bit of their energy over the last decades of existence preaching death metal as it should be.
