Agar is a Reversible Hydrocolloid Impression Material used in Dentistry. This 2nd video from the series of Impression materials from dental material or prosthodontics, explains the composition, property, manipulation, advantages, and disadvantages of agar and compares it with Alginate and other impression Materials. Sir I have a question as agar is reusable..but can it be used in different patients? Or it is reusable in same patient? What about it's cross infection control if same portion is used in different patients

Reuse is generally.done for impression which are used for duplicating casts

I am sponsoring a group of disadvantaged young people on Indian reservations to learn the art of being a dental technician. I am trying to make a reversible hydrocolloid formula for laboratory duplication. I know it requires Agar Agar , Borax and potassium phosphate. Are there any other ingredients missing. I want to make it accessible to anyone who wants to learn this profession. Please let me know what else is needed.
