I met Scott Bloomquist in the 90’s at the local race track Mountain Motor Raceway where my Great Uncle and Uncle were racing a late model driven by Steve Smith #3, we had been points champion, but when Bloomer came it was a whole new level of competition. I instantly had a new found respect for Scott. He is as genuine a guy as you’ll ever find, he will sign autographs and take pictures as long as it takes. He respects the fans as much or more than they respect him. Just an incredible individual for sure.

Love a young dude won, wish it was me. The youngter's emotion was inspiring, and to see Scott's reaction was great. 👍🏁

That is one of the best things anyone could do for young person to inspire them ! What a gift from god s children

We dirt fans know Scott doesn't show emotion and does NOT typically do this type of stuff at all. This kid will have a great opportunity i can promise you that. Also I believe this may have soften the goat a little bit. Did I actually see a tear in his eye and hear his voice cracking when talking? Wow. Scott is the petty earnhardt together on dirt. Good stuff
@guitarman8643 жыл бұрын
That is so cool! I'm not a fan of bloomquist, but I felt his emotion and excitement when he was talking to them! Hats off to you bloomer and that kid... it didn't look like a full sized car, but it looked bigger than a sharp mini late model..
@jcearnhardt3933 жыл бұрын
If your a dirt fan somewhere in you is a Scott fan. Kinda like when earnhardt was alive, everybody had a little fan in them man. Scott is just to good not to like some, I go to alot of races. Seem him make it look way to easy. Not no fan either. We both know what I mean.
The owner breaking down shows what his intentions are in life. Great man

I had bought a ticket into this raffle, but I'm happier this kid won. He'll probably be able to take it a lot further than me with how young he is. I hope he does well.

Bloomquist is a helluva driver, marketing genius, builder and an icon. Some say the greatest of all time. But he's definitely not in any shape to be an athlete. lol And I don't think they did it on a whim. Tickets were available way back in April and the drawing was originally suppose to be around September

How many people heard him say oh well we dont just sell the cars there's alot of ways to acquire my chassis but you cant just come buy one wow wtf man had to sell cars that way
@stevenmorrison46923 жыл бұрын
You left out the part in that line about selling cars to the public
@joracer13 жыл бұрын
No his deal is you have to be real good to get one of his cars, and there's a lot of stipulations, he made all his money by winning hundreds of races paying $10k to $100k. Bloomquist out smarted his competitors about 5 to 1 over his career. Bloomer when younger showed up to win if he didn't he was pissed, still shows up to win but if he don't he acknowledges he needs to work harder. He is better at big $$ dirt racing than Petty was at nascar. I'm guessing he's 60 or older he still has it, but noone likes to see a legend getting older.
