Very nice I am totally gonna upgrade to this board. My 11th gen board has been rock solid since I got it 2 years ago. BUT its time to update to the latest gen chip since my 11700f is starting to bottleneck my 3080 12gb card in some games. :)

Did you try some ram overclocking on this board? If it can do 6800 cl34 with a 13600k that would be a pretty nice gaming build.

The point of this motherboard is BCLK OC. You can run a 12400F at 5200MHz in it with huge performance benefits, almost 12600K level. 13gen CPUs can't be BCLK overclocked, so this setup is not so good to test this motherboard. Go for a 12400(F)

Thanks for the input! If I had all the CPUs in the world and more time per review, videos will be an hour long and everything would be covered. Shame one day doesn't last at least 72 hours just for the sake of this. ;)

@@pauldreadlike1 Yes I have this motherboard and a 12400F is stable in it. I did not test it to the limits, I don't use it to render or other 100% workload, for gaming it is stable, I had no problem.

That is a beauty of a setup. And I love the Cooler too. Which one is that? I normally like Lian Li or DeepCool, but the RGB infinity mirrors on that cooler are incredible, as an addition to such a build. Perhaps too complex for you to do, but I would love to hear, not just a standard review, but your opinion on how good this setup is, and what you think we should consider as alternatives. Off now to find out what that cooler is.

I know you already found out which cooler it is since we discussed it already. But for other reading, it is Jonsbo CR-3000 :) I mean I like this combination, just would eventually go with a stronger CPU. Alternatives, AMD Ryzen 5 7600X for the processor. It actually isn't too complex for me to do, but taking into consideration what pace I am pushing videos out since I have loads of them to cover generally, that would be so much additionaly work that I would have to postpone other videos a bit too much and delay loads of other stuff. :/

Build my gaming pc on this board. It works well, has lots of customisation options in BIOs. Had a challenge using my Logitech mx master in bios, so ended up buying a cheap usb mouse and now it works. The Asrock app updater automatically updated all drivers after Win11 install, no issues. Nahmic audio drivers paired with a decent set of headphones gives 3D-esque surround sound.

Perfect. I am glad you are satisfied. As for the MX Master, if you connect it with USB it should work. I think not a single Blutetooth mouse works in BIOS because drivers don't boot up until you reach Windows.

Hi, thanks a lot. This model doesn't have WiFi or Bluetooth. Maybe some other models of this board that actually have a WIFI in their name.

Hi, should be ok... Just ok. No OC. VRMs won't handle it. And I don't think it would be that stable with OC or way to high load.

GPUs are standard PCIE cards. They go into any motherboard with a PCIE slot (and all modern motherboards have PCIE slots).
