Assam: President Murmu takes a sortie on Sukhoi 30 MKI fighter aircraft

Жыл бұрынPresident Droupadi Murmu on April 08 visited Tezpur Air Force Station, Assam. She was accorded ‘Guard of Honour’ on her arrival. She also made a sortie on the Sukhoi 30 MKI fighter aircraft. President Murmu became the second female head of state to fly in a warplane. Earlier, former Prez Pratibha Patil took off from Pune air force base in frontline Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter jet in 2009. President Murmu is on a 3-day visit to Assam.
