From what I've seen, they don't stand a chance against a 6 eyed sand spider! But then again, nothing does. Within seconds of the potent venom injected, the victim is it's food.

I know these are captive specimens but why don't the grasshoppers hop away, are they some type of feeder locust that don't hop that much or maybe they have been chilled a bit in the fridge?

they were warm enough, they would hop away from me. I really wasn't sure why they were so unafraid of the assassin bugs, it was unexpected.

Hello, its a great video..I got bitten on the breast by the white-spotted assassin bug 3 days before, it was very painful. Now I'm worried as the itchiness and redness is increasing .. I been to doctor the day i got bitten, seems the doctor doesnt have much knowledge, he just gave me a pain killer n allergy tablet..
