This game was what dreams were made of it's the holy grail of all games ever made by Ubisoft, it will leave a long lasting memory in your brain! This game painted the way for all Assasin Creed games! Just my opinion.

I cried.....It was just too beautiful. Let me explain, the gore, the weapons, the graphics, the movement, the story, i don't believe this game is real yet, you can't make me believe. I STILL play assassins creed 1, it is STILL the best game I've ever played... and your telling me they're coming out with a second??? I don't believe it.

Finally a game set in Italy! I'm from Florence, and every detail of the city is well kept and in detail, also because my town has changed very little from what it was 500 years ago!! How nice, how nice ... .

Back then, assassin's creed was about being an assassin. In the last years, the franchise felt more like playing as a warrior instead of an assassin.

It was previously stated that unlike Al-Tair in assassin's creed Ezio will be promoted gradually to a master assassin meaning you'll contasntly be upgrading your suit. In addition to that the game will feature disguising missions

Ubisoft is using the same engine but also updated with several improvments such as vegitation (taken from farcry 2), enriching the the cloth texturing of the civilians and enhancing their animation, etc. About assassin's creed being one of the most visually inspiring games in 2007 thats because there werent many contenders out there but now that we are in 2009 and the competition has rised, the spark we saw in 2007 has been reduced

At the very beggining of this trailer among the three who are being executed is ezio's father and at that certain moment ezio was still youthful probably in his early 20s which leads to the start of a turning point where he decides to take vengeance against the ones who betrayed him and his family by joining the brotherhood serving them for 30 years or so

I did notice the thing about the faces. When I looked at Ezio's face in the gameplay trailer, I realised his face didn't have much detail or anything. I still want this game either way though.

I'm pretty sure Ezio isn't 44 years old in the game, more like 20's. This is somebody reflecting on what Ezio did in the past which is pretty much what the whole game series is based on. Some dude from the future's ancestors.

when you get to a higher rank as an assassin you gain a darker cloak color in the game. oh and i dunno if you know or not but you can upgrade your armor with like different styles and stuff. like the bigger armor plates give you more health. it's pretty sweet

ok, i checked--the DS version is called "Assassin's Creed II: Discovery" which is being released with the PS3, Xbox and PSP (on the same day). it's only PC that's being delayed.

This game really looks like it will do what the first game was supposed to, more of the gaps are filled in, more to do, more tools to use, easily the best game of the year

it actually didn't look like this before... cus i watched it like this morning (when not as many people were watching it) and it was a lot smoother.

The extra stuff for the special editions will hopefully be available for download. ...Unless I'm mistakened. I'm not one for getting a special edition and seeing that each edition, which there will be three of, has so much extra content, I wouldn't be surprised if it came for a download.

i have a feeling that the revenge thing leads to some "templar" stuff just cause the dude that ezio shot in the trailer dropped a templar cross. also, patrice desolets (or however you spell his last name ha) said that it STARTS as a revenge thing that turns into more of a justice thing. oh well, we'll find out when the game comes out

All assassins creed games were epic, but this has to b the 1 that entertained me the most

Did you know that at the start of AC2 Desmond and lucy leave abstergo and turns against them, they meet up with a historian, then desmond goes in the new animus 2.0 to learn to become an assassin, so in AC3, you'll be in 2012, avenging the templars once and for all!!

@Kazumaster It does have a similar thing to the flags, but you get things for collecting it. also by hundreds of hours of gameplay, they mean hundreds of side missions for each city, plus a very long main plot

Out of the two games of Assassin's, I'd have to say that this story appears to be more personally motivated and captures, at least in my opinion, my attention more. The drive is more compelling and allows the audience to relate and feel what the character is going through, as to what Altair had experienced. The emotion jst wasnt there before. Yes the action and fluid counters/strikes were jst exhilirating but I'm siding with this game to be better.

I just realized something! if Ezio looks the same as when he watches his fathers execution, he is wearing the same clothing and looks the same, then the game wouldn't take place when he is 5o, so that idea is gone. the true meaning of that statement could be a whole number of things.

Unless I am mistaken, I think the only thing I was disappointed with the game is that Ezio wasn't as angry as this trailer shows him. Except for the execution and the first assassination, Ezio was never quite as aggresive as the producers said he would be. Like here you see every time he kills someone you can hear the anger in his voice and his victims cying out with pain as he kills them. That's all though. I still love the game, and can't wait for the third.

Ezio is a relative of Altair hence why they are similar from what I have gathered from the creating; its where they left of to find the Peace of Eden however this is based in a different terrain and time so its obvious that desmond (the current decendant of Altair)will still be involved in this. Ezio so far has been seen as more modern time assassin in 15th century and is ofcourse a relative of Altair. Have to admit like the idea of having twin blades can't wait to try it out.

It could be him narrating from 30 years into the future, or Da Vinci realizing his dream (probably inventing stuff for assassins) 30 years ago... really depends on who's narrating and what context
