No Modern Day Scenes, this is the first Assassin's Creed game in the main series that doesn't have a Modern Day scenes.

@@Xobik1 considering the absolute dumpster fire trash the modern story has become since AC 3, I've been waiting and wanting for them to do this. There was nothing worse, while playing Black Flag and Rogue, than to be snatched away to play the most absolute uninteresting, boring and out of touch modern day story while I was trying to get invested in the protagonist's story. imo they should just kill it in the next game, wrap this mess up and just give a damn good story about humans vs humans without any god nonsense or modern tech bs.

I liked a lot Basim's nice, calm demeanor when he appeared in Valhalla. It broke my heart to learn he is Loki. He'll no rest until he brings suffering to all those he thinks was mistreated by, and I feel very sorry for the former Basim, Kassandra, and Layla. 💔

It bugs me so bad that Layla goes into the animus and the next time she steps out, she has a penis, a beard and all of it. Like if basim was just a vessel for Loki, then why didn’t Loki appear instead of basim when as I’m takes over Layla and how In the actual hell did it physically change her body from female to male. How did the animus do that? Is there any explanation at all? If anything it should’ve been basim/loki in laylas body. Not just straight up basim, I thought that was so stupid

I think they reached their highest point with the one in France, no idea why they haven't used that engine to make all of the later ones 🫤 But the last interesting and fun one to play at least was the Egyptian, he had personality, architecture and mythology. This one is...boring and full of nobodys doing nothing but giving us little side missions that don't show off any of the city's beauty or character. Just more cut and paste buildings and people. Ubisoft really have lost the plot with the last few 😒

The graphics & story are as such because this game was already finished before origins. It was meant to be the start of the basim storyline. But they figured why not save it to buy time for another ac game since it could fit at the end of the basim story.

This is extremely disappointing. Valhalla ended it with such a high point for them to build off of. Bland is how i would describe Mirage.
