the game CAN BE* fluid. It can also be insanely buggy and look awful. Its really 50/50 at times

They’re the same mechanics just sped up. The terrain is a lot closer together and there’s more smooth walls which makes it feel like the mechanics are different.

@@CpTn_QwRk units parkour is literally only cool to look at. every single ac after unity had parkour that doesnt feel like running into invisible walls.

@@shimik11 I have only played it a bit since I don't really enjoy the newer games that much. Valhalla and odyssey were a huge turn off to the series for me and I was afraid that origins would end up being more of the same. At least it hasn't lost my interest yet since it doesn't feel that much like a tedious grindfest.

Origins is still my favorite. I'm loving Mirage so far

@@theguy3129 yes, it's a lot better. In fact. There multiple things about the game thats better then Origins. Like increase enemy ai detection, add back some of the old tools like throwing knives and smoke bombs and blow darts and even add some new ones. Also this is the first ac game where you actually train to become a assassin instead of just simply watching a cutscene. And the fact that we hadn't had a initiation cutscene in any of the RPG games just says how much better the story has returned to the classic ac. And the Parkour still may be a little clunky but it's the best Parkour we had in years. And this game probably has the best wanted system too. Like when someone spots you fail or pickpocket or murder someone they'll continue to shout for the guards throughout Baghdad, and if you walk around the city while you're wanted, civilians will recognize you and call for the guards. Like that feature is some rdr2 level shit. And to add to the Impressiveness of the ai, the fact that the guards become more and more alert, the more body's they find is a really nice detail and it actually gives you a reason to hide the body's after killing someone. And this game by far has the best Parkour environment out of every Assassins Creed game.

@@Mary_PuppinsDP Impressive Ai? The Ai is fucking dumb is what it is. And the Parkour is clunky and stuff. Origins had way better improvised parkour and the much better game in general.

This is shit they were doing in AC2, stop acting likes its innovation. Its just copy paste bs from older games because AC fans are never happy. They couldn't even give basim unique animations its just a reskinned eivor. Before you tell me this was meant to be a dlc at first I know that already but my point is if you're gonna make it into a full fledged game put in more effort. Their stupid store gets more effort than the actual game.

I mean the chain assassination skill is technically a double assassinate

ac mirage takes place before the time of Altair and Altair created the double hidden blade they’re just following lore.

he always stabs in the neck the head or the heart the ones where he stabs the back go into the heart because he stabs the left side, also assassinations are super clean only thing thats a bit disappointing is there are no double assassinations, but the teleportation skill is really useful and looks amazing, also if u play the game u notice the parkour is super smooth, and freerunning is definitely a lot better than valhalla

You surely didn t play the old games. The freerun is robotic and the assassinations take like 5 seconds. 5 SECONDS FOR AN ASSASSINATION. In unity they lasted like 1 second like an assassin should do it. I can't say how many times in 5 hours i got detected just because the animations take five years. It's a step in the right direction but still horrible. The only satisfying thing in this game is to crush them with debris. Other than that, everything assassin-related is garbage. It's because of the valhalla engine mostly. Hopefully they will not forget about the actually good ac games and make only cheap rpg games like the last ones.@@imalittlefish7823

It was actually in the games from AC2 to Syndicate I believe. Definitely until black flag syndicate I'm not sure. AC2 had a very similar animation as well. The more you know!

@@CRoffey No. You could assassinate in the games following the Ezio games up until Unity (not sure about Syndicate). Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag specifically had assassinating Woodes Rogers from a bench as his 100% sync requirement.

Agreed. I was skeptical at first, but after a couple hours into the game, I think Ubisoft really nailed it. I’m loving it so far, and it may be one of my favorite AC games

This game takes place hundreds of years before Altair was born, unfortunately the creative director for the game confirmed no post launch content but that could change.

@@galidian4657if I read correctly, this was intended to be post launch content for Vahalla but then they reworked the systems to be more true to the original series. Sounds more like they’re pushing for the mobile spinoff and the Japan installment.

The gloves, I have no idea. But the knife sheathe on his back doesn't make much sense when you don't have a dagger to put there, and in Mirage's case, it's because you already have a knife sheathe on your belt.

if anything the teleport assassination thing looks cool af especially whne you mix it with air assassination, reminds me of Dishonored 1's Daud's Blink teleport+Bend Time mechanics except on autopilot

i didnt like it and thought i wouldnt use it at first but it feels very smooth to the gameplay and im using it a decent amount now

Exactly. The enemy stops when you press R1. I think it's like this in the other games too (played them last month all of them and i forgot) but they have way faster animations and it doesn't look bad. In this game tho , the animations are so fucking bad man. Idk how someone at ubisoft played this and said ,,yeah it's alright". ,,Fastest assassin" my ass

the apple is not something that is always part of the gameplay, you can use it in some story missions in the final part of Brotherood, and after that sequence you will never be able to use it again, it's a stupid comparison

Next AC is gonna be a RPG lol i think its the japanese one. This is probably gonna be the last classic type ac game they will make

It's about what I expected. I think it's worth playing, but it's nothing special.
