The best ones: *The Achaemenids* (the 1st & the one & only superpower in human history), *the Ashkanids/Parthians* (world superpower), *The Sassanids* (World superpower), *the Abbasids* (Islamic golden age which was centered at Iran), *the Seljuks* (dominated power in region that also dealt the final blow to the Byzantium), *the Safavids* (World gun power empire along with the ottomans & mughals), *the Afsharids* (dominant power in the region with *Nader Shah Afshar being called the napoleon of Iran & the last conqueror of the east* )

Old Persia was ended by Rashudin Caliphate man, we're not talking about old Persia. The game literally takes place in the 850s which was The Abbasids golden age.

The kings of ancient Iran, including Cyrus the Great, Darius I and II, and finally Xerxes, were honest kings. When King Xerxes arrived in Greece, the Greeks asked themselves why Zeus took the form of an Iranian man. What you saw in 300 was completely false from beginning to end.

@Jorge A Camacho there's nothing Arabian nor Arab about the assassins. They were firstly Persians. Baghdad itself was never Arab n there's a Persian character in the game along with Persia as well. Plus Arabian nights also isn't even Arabian. A French man created that name for our book that was 1001 nights n the earliest versions were from Persia. Iraq yes. Iraq which is actualy seperated into two region called Iraq-ı Acem and Iraq-ı Arab which also referred as Iraqein which means Two Iraq in history. So Iraq have both Persian and Arabian origins eventually.

@@serkanburakors1880 Thanks this is the explanation I was looking for, the universe does aim for a Persian/Arabian vibe which goes along the Story of the Persian Empire which also had historical presence in Iraq. My intention was not to bring historical conflict, but a musical mood that fits with the Game concept. And I guessed it right with Mirage

An Assassin's Creed in Israel at the time of Jesus, Portugal at the time of the Portuguese Ultra-Maritime Empire, when they had the best boats in the world and when they started exploring new oceans, or maybe in Brazil. Another American country in the AC would be interesting. With history taking place at the time of the Empire of Brazil, not to be a copy of AC III. You could also have one in Turkey, at the time of the Ottoman Empire or at best, if you spend a AC telling the story exclusively of the Crusades, the Order of Assassins being a secret part of the Crusades. There are still many options. I hope Ubisoft makes good choices in the next games in the AC franchise, it is an amazing franchise!
