you dont need a epic gear build to get 100% crit sphinx pack and a crit bow with crit at full hp will engravings get your there so you can easy cit for 3m+ with headshots with predator shot and 2m+ with multi shot

If you set an enemy on fire straight after you use the enhanced arrow rain ability you will get critical hits for all the fire damage dealt before they are put out again rather than just getting crits in the time period that the ability gives you definite crits, not sure if it works for poison.

I found something weird in Odyssey. On my way from a sync point to a bandit camp close to the arena on Crete I found Mercenary's who said they ran away. You might find them if you go to the sync point that is the closest by the arena and then go to the bandit camp that is the closest to the arena. I think this is from a future Lost Tale Of Greece.

If you use a weapon with high crit chance or damage you can also engrave your swords with 15% or more perk to earn adrenaline per crit so if you have 100 crit chance that also means you can gain insane amounts of adrenaline in no time at all as you are earning 15% or more of it per hit

If you have the DLC, you unlock a perk that does attack damage and provides you 4 segments of Adrenaline when maxed out. So I was never low adrenaline but this is a good idea.

I actually have a build quite similar but its warrior focused and uses the staff as the primary weapon. Having 100% crit chance and over 100k warrior damage makes for a fun play

Hi sorry probably a noob question, I am new to odyssey but does it matter when I should engrave my gear? I have just engraved a +2% CRIT CHANCE while full health. if I unlocked the later tiers of this engraving, will the 2% increase on my gear even though it has been engraved? Thanks!

I have a 90% critical chance and 600% critical damage with full health, also 98% ignore half damage assassin poison built

My nemean lion has 100 crit chance and 775 crit damage

Mine is the same at 90 crit chance but 575 crit damage. I traded my 100% chance to Ignore half damage and 50% resistances for 85% Melee and range resistances with 10% chance to Ignore. Feels pretty crit tanky!

Honestly my build is probably the only build I will need...ever. On a whim I brought the Legendary Set that has Crit while full health and oh man, just a normal light attack with a sword does about 400k just normally, its absolutely amazing honestly.

Hey here's my build so for mine I used the pirate armour and the paros bow and engraved it with crit damage and for the chest plate I engraved it with total armour and crit damage and on the waist I put crit damage and elemental resistance and for the boots I put crouch movement speed and for the gauntlet I put crit damage is this good?

Whats better CRIT damage or All damage?? I've been focusing all my gear to get Warrior damage with All damage and damage with swords... I can take down most mercs with a shot of ring of chaos followed by a swift over power attack

Goes to show how much of a noob I was in the game, only assigning myself with the Legendary gear items, thinking they were OP when as it turns out, Epic is far more OP! I only realised recently that Epic gear has the ability to have 4 engravings rather than just the 3 the legendary gear is stuck with (at least until the full set is combined). Only level 62 atm but I would really love to get a 62 gear build where I can favour from crit chances against enemies around my level.

You go down pretty quickly? Then you need to include Chance to Ignore Half Damage in the build as well. You can get it on the head and waist armor pieces, and at max level makes for eighty percent chance. Combine that with a max level Staff of Hermes, which is the only weapon in the game with the perk, and you've got 120% Chance to Ignore Half Damage. That and the small chance to get the shield will take care of your defenses.
