Watching ! Yes, but I mean if a game is obviously not improving from past games I could understand a mad community. Now they change a game (new combat, awesome setting, crafting etc.) and people complain its not an original assassins creed :D

2 things that i absolutely loved 1: the fact that the guard who was trying to raise alarm was trying to light a fire with stones and that he was doing it so fast it legit looked like he was rushing which made it a lot more realistic. 2.When the commander blocked the Arrow with his shield! god that was good stuff!

Bayek is not the first Assassin...there were assassins before him...he is only the founder of the brotherhood as we know it from AC 1 (said Ashraf Ismail)

Bayek isnt the first assassin he's just the founder of the brotherhood, it had been explained in AC2 before you collect ezio's full armor.. there were so many assassins before him but acted individually in certains area long before the fallen of julio caesar. Remember follow the lore.

+BatBoy 122 yes he is an assassin but he isnt the first assassin on this earth, the assassins who lived couple ages before him had to acted individually not in group or community and had their own purpose. I said bayek is the founder of *brotherhood* but not the first assassin, you will understand if you read the lore carefully and also bayek is the only one assassin who created a mechanical of hidden blade if im not mistaken. *"We work in the dark, to serve the light we are assassins"* thats their motto right?

He's also not the founder of the brotherhood. The egyptian brotherhood has existed since about 200 BC - this game takes place around 60-50 BC during Cleopatra's rise to power if I'm not mistaken.

Ofcourse there were assassins before him. An assassin is just someonr who kills somebody somewhat discretely. We will find out in the game what the real story behind everything is.

James Buchanan Barnes got anything to back up that statistic? Alpha is where they start, refining and adding features, the beta is when you'll start seeing less changes. So try and give constructive feedback during this period or you'll never see the changes you want

Aaron hardy apparently stealth is no longer a priority because you can't even cover and assassinate an enemy while staying out of sight....so if there's more than one enemy in a room, you can't grab the closest one and drag him away.

The funny thing is that Bayek explicitly does have tons of formal training because Medjai were trained as warriors and scouts almost from birth.

Not a hater, I'm loving this game, but that's not night. That's day with a darkened sky. One of the reasons I love Dragon's Dogma is because the developers weren't afraid to make the night actually dark. You know, like in real life.

I was thinking this, it's not just the brightness level that's the problem, it's the lighting. It looks a lot like a sunny day where a particularly big cloud has temporarily blocked out the sun. Everything is very de-saturated and there's basically no blacks visible. The funny thing is, the night-time in the Witcher 3 looks way better than this, even though Geralt can literally see in the dark.

Joseph Ian excuse me but he's absolutely right. All this clipping and lack of feedback is a serious problem (for example the character having NO reaction to his shield being hit full force with weapons) . People who 'complain about everything' aren't the problem. It's people like you who accept everything that got assassins creed in this position.

I really hate the weapon trail when you attack. what is the purpose of it? to tell me that I'm doing a light or heavy attack? I know which attack I'm doing because I pressed the button. it kinda breaks the immersion for me because it looks out of place if that makes any sense.

His explanation for the new fighting mechanics is actually really good. Like he said, we're kinda just brawlers in this one. Not some martial arts masters that can take guys out in 2-3 moves. I like the old AC games but I have a feeling this one will take us back to the roots in a way

I never say the contrary but this moves are "cool" despite the fact it's impossible and you accepted that. But for the dash, there is something wrong for me. It's not cool, no bad ass, it breaks the realism of the fight. Like anyone said, it should be a little slower and shorter. Do you really like this over powered dash ?

Kanye West the ALPHA GAMEPLAY of Assassin's Creed 3 was awesome and then the game came out and was full of Bugs. Same for Unity... so ALPHA or BETA does mean nothing for Ubisoft.

Really like the way this is going. AC is in need of some refreshment and innovation. Although I did like the cover system in the series though, made some takedowns more cool and cinematic and it worked great. Not sure I like the absense of that in Origins. Also, I really hope that they polish things out like this texture clipping @ 8:50 while assassinating someone. This issure seems to be present in all AC's I played.. such a pity.

The visuals of the game look good but the fighting is terrible, it reminds of one of those free to play games when it takes a tonne of hits to kill one enemy, Ubisoft should have kept the fighting the same as it was in syndicate.

The combat looks terrible. Assassins Creed III that came out 5 years ago and the combat was basically perfect. They should have just expanded upon that system, rather than making a clunky new one.

FanTa!n3r it pisses me off coz its like that in nearly every ubisoft game like far cry 4, assassins creed syndicate and some other games. Only far cry primal has aced it and i think ghost recon wildlands.

Thats interesting what you mentioned about the combat. Because its a time period way before any more advanced fighting styles were prevalent, it makes feel combat feel as intense and primitive as the time period. Not a bad thing but something to consider if doubting the game. Nice video and watching all this makes me cant wait to play :D

Ah yes there is totally no new gameplay features and due to the "ps3 graphics" this game is definitely not worth the buy. Along with a single AI screw up and the character clipping through the environment (Because what game doesn't have those) I'm not even sure why I'm watching this gameplay.(sarcasm)

Prefer the old combat, some say it was too easy which is fair enough but in my eyes this just looks like something from tekken, aimlessly swinging your weapon around!

Bj Leighton nah I agree with you the combat annoys me. I wish it was more flowed smoother and they improvised on the original combat from 1 and 2. also hate red effect on the blade when the character swings. it just bugs me.
