The Storm Fortress was an amazing battle for me. Sinking the beast was one of the most satisfying things.

For those who don't know, The Storm Fortress is a locked Legendary Ship Event Battle until all other Legendary Battles Are Completed. (It is also the only one maxed out on difficulty rating)

The Pilgrim was in Assassins Creed Black Flag. You can actually find her by increasing your wanted to the highest point. A level 60 man o war should come out naming it “Pilgrim”

The Storm Fortress is the only ship in the whole AC series that truly scares me. I mean, others ships like the HMS Prince or the HMS Fearless & Royal Sovereign in Black Flag had pretty intimidating intros, and El Impoluto was a monster of a ship, but nothing ever came close to being as terrifying as the Fortress.

I've Finally mastered taking out several Man O War attacks at once. It's taken roughly 4 years of trying every possible tactic of saved video to file as well - Best option: start Mortar attack at roughly 425 yards with very direct solid 4 hits, and don't even bother with front cannons, unless it's combined while charging ManOWar head on full speed,, when both bows glance off from direct Ice Breaker strike,, now breach along side all stop,, Sails rolled up,,, and pour on the flaming oil, as you float by with short bursts of side cannons in between, while rotating at it's stern blasting it further with side cannons,, and it's all over quickly. The escorts are typically just as tough in normal game play,, so don't waste Mortars on them, just let them attack you,, if you look a little fragile, as this will repair your ship and possibly gain a couple rounds of Mortars as well. If other ManOWars are nearby,,,, It's going to get brutal in a few moments when the entire gang is out to kill you. You don't want to get caught short of ammo. Ramming the buggers is as good as a Mortar hit. Front cannons are very effective on Gun Boats,, as are Ice Bergs shot at with mini cannons - and can be useful if angle of attack is not precise for front or side cannons. The game is never over,, just so they know. Haven't tried uploading game play in quite a while.. I should at least provide actual concept of quickly killing Man o Wars. I couldn't think of a way to beat flying fortress but instead I took shay's advice way too literally.I reached it's tail and fired broadsides and mortars without getting anything in return. Though it was a hard task since man'o'war turns very fast, but ram charge skill helped me there.

When I first played this game, The Storm Fortress legendary battle was the hardest and most intimidating. But on my second run after I figured out that I can use the naval boost ram to get out of the Fortress's firing and mortar range, it was relatively easy. The challenging battle for me in this run was the Battle of Quiberon Bay since the fireships kept spawning and blasting into the Morrigan.

I know this is a two year old clip but the way you fight is really weird as you aren’t using the Morrigan’s full potential; Heavy Shot, Charge ram and Burning Oil ( to its full extent)

An important thing to note, is that the fire barrels (aka Fire on the Water Attack) quickly destroys all these ships.

I have a challenge and it's an insane one : destroy a legendary ship by using swivel guns only

The trick is go near that legendary ship as much as you can and just shoot heavy shot over and over. You don't need a full upgraded Morigan

Painful to defeat it. Yet very satisfied and confident after finally have it sunk.

Yesterday I finally beat storm fortress mission after hard tried for 2 days. That was intense.

Funni story: I was playing Assassin's Creed black flag and I decided to fight La Dama Negra (legendary ship) I had full upgrades, and I rammed into the front of that ship. I got pretty surprised, because the game glitched and the jackdaw was pushed underwater. I survived, but it was funny I think

North Atlantic is to hard after you kick these 2 another one comes but i well do my best all upgrade 100% but still lol very weeks

Here’s an easy way to beat the Storm Fortress: Activate the Immortal cheat before starting the sequence. After beating all three ships with ease and return to free roam, quickly exit the Animus and wait for 30 seconds. Then, reenter the Animus and you should have everything: achievement, outfit, everything.

Well my strategy was to go in front of it and burn it with flames because it just goes strait if you are in front of it

I beat all the ships with halfway upgraded morrigean it was easy but I couldn’t beat the storm fortess until I fully upgraded my ship

Would of been great to keep each of the legendary ships to add to our fleet and upgrade them as well and they can each singlehandedly do field operations on there on doing beach incursions and hold onto territories for Shay and expand his sea territories and New York City would be his capital and HQ and if he can get his hands on more frigates and man-of-war ships and upgrade them as best they can and have more territories and the power to defend it and hold it and the power to extend his reach to other continents lol
