man, i play AC origins only with this music of AC 1. the composer of this music, Jesper Kyd is a LEGEND ! such an AMAZING soundtrack he made for this game !! i hope he knows how much people are appreciate him and miss him. AC 1 is such an amazing game, it left me such an amazing memorys, feelings, atmosphere, gameplay, beauty. its most importent AC game because its where it all started. AC origins is also amazing game, people just need to learn to enjoy it. as specially with the AMAZING music of the legendary Jesper Kyd.

and1f34 I noticed how there were a couple of AC1 soundtracks reused in the Ezio trilogy. I remembered at one point when Acre Underworld was playing in Brotherhood. Obviously, a lot more music from AC1 was brought back into Revelations since it was almost a half Ezio, half Altaïr game in terms of the main story and what Ezio’s journey was really about, even though you played as Ezio 98% of the time.

To be fair, AC1 was based on the real Hashashin. The Order of Assassins dissolved after the 1200s, unfortunately, so Assassin's Creed 2 and onward don't really make a whole lot of sense. Well, relative to reality, anyway. They're still good games. 😊

Yep because the climbing physics were so simple and outdated. The combat system is based in parrys and well the graphics, but that last thing could ruin the dark atmosphere, in cities like Acre. But except those things even if the missions are repetitive the history is very good, and for me AC1 is the most darker in the saga because, after this one, I had never saw that darker and mysterious aura. In fact, this atmosphere makes sense with the line: "We act in the darkness, to serve the light"

I'm not saying things like Black Flag are bad, it is actually very enjoyable too. But what the hell went wrong anyway? Why we went from assassinating and fleeing while the real story was about deception and secrets? Maybe it needs to change, fine but then giant monsters and RPG elements? Not to mention microtransactions? They should at least remaster AC1 but they wouldn't dare doing so. That would be like reminding people how AC really was, much better direction. So it is with AC 2.

Exactly! After Origins the game got fucked up. I really enjoyed the realistic scenarios and now the whole thing since Odyssee is turning to a fricking phantasy game without a real story, like you can chose what the characters say and even the character.. that's not a stable story, that's not what Assassins creed is supposed to be!

@HARBINGER Assassins Creed is what made me want to buy a PS3 all the way back in 2008. I remember I was 13-14 back then and was so obssessed with AC 1 when I watched all its gameplays that I was desperate for a PS3 which I managed to purchase for Christmas in 2008. I really loved the Desmond Miles storyline with the 'end of the world 2012' thing going on and all those illuminati references. I still reckon AC 1 had the best ending of all the AC's because it was one of those cliffhanger moments which really brought lots of questions and just made you anxious for more, asking yourself what were all those signs on the wall? Only for AC 2 to be announced which I played almost 10 years ago to the day in February 2010. The storyline only got better for me. Revelations was a bit of a short game but AC3 was the most fun imo after I had completed it back in Jan 2013. For some reason I didn't bother playing Black Flag back then or any other AC since I sold all my gaming consoles the following year in 2014 and had officially quit gaming until I started to borrow a PS4 recently and got a whole lot of games to play, including all the ACs. After completing Black Flag and Rogue I have to say I enjoyed them and to me Black Flag felt like an actual AC game even though the Desmond Miles storyline had ended. I've just finished Unity and honestly it must be the worst AC I have ever played, the gameplay was just difficult and the story was boring (not much of a present day story or roaming around the Animus tofind collectibles). I'm currently playing Syndicate which I've gotten a few hours into and it feels pretty much the same as Unity to me, so I'm hoping Origins and Odyssey will be different in the sense that they actually feel like the original AC games. I now understand what people in the comments mean when they post stuff like 'When AC was actually AC' under gameplay videos of AC1 to AC Black Flag etc. But honestly, I am glad that I played AC all the way from the beginning back in the days, meaning before it was even this big as it is now and before sequels were announced etc. Some people are playing them all now but only after having just discovered it, whereas I'm proud I started playing from when AC1 was the only title in the series.
@RatedRRaj
@RatedRRaj 4 жыл бұрын
HARBINGER I've just completed AC Origins and I have to say I found it brilliant, absolutely fantastic. The best AC game I have played yet. I thought Syndicate was my fav after I finished it but Origins was epic. I have to be honest because when I first played it I was about to give up and return it since it felt nothing like any of the previous ACs. The gameplay had changed, the controls etc. and the fact that its more of an RPG style, so I was 50/50 about deciding whether to continue or not. I only wanted to do the story and really didnt wanna bother doing side quests just to level up however I realised I had no choice so just went ahead with it. You have to eventually get used to the game as I did, thats when I started to enjoy it more and more. I'm about to start Odyssey and am hoping it will be even better than Origins or at least the same but either way Origins definitely took me by surprise. Wow.
@RatedRRaj
@RatedRRaj 4 жыл бұрын
@HarbingerN7 I've just completed all of AC Odyssey (including the Cult of Kosmos and the Fate of Atlantis DNA memory), took me around 55 hours, basically 2 weeks because I played everyday. Man this game was way more brilliant than the last (Origins), I absolutely loved EVERYTHING about it. You were so right when you told me that Origins and Odyssey would feel very different because they did. They didn't have those original 'AC' feelings to them except the present day story which I felt like they could have expanded on a little bit more. I still wanted to find out what happened to Shaun Hastings and Rebecca Crane, they left them out of it and moved onto another scenario with this new Layla but that was kinda interesting too. I didn't bother purchasing the Fate of Atlantis DLC although I may in the future. For now though I'm still overwhelmed at how great this game was. It's definitely in the top 5 games I've played, also because the storyline was good too. It was pretty long, by far the longest game I think I've played (not comparing it to GTA or other games that are sandbox style etc) and it seemed to go on forever but that wasn't a problem for me. It almost felt like a movie, and that we had a lot of choices to choose from in the dialogue, another thing I liked that there were a lot of cutscenes. To conclude I'd have to say Ubisoft really nailed it here and it truly is a 10/10. There's not many games out there like this. I never thought I would have played these later games from Black Flag to Odyssey, but hey just goes to show you.

RatedRRaj Yep I loved those games m8. I felt like a true legendary master assassin by going for all the trophies including platinum. I just was so enthralled by AC2 especially upon piecing together and discovering the “truth” and viewing that video. Not to sound cliche, but that short video as well as the ultimate destruction of the world in revelations honestly made me so obsessed with ancient history and combined futuristic elements. I’ve been waiting so long and still have hope that we can go back to “paradise” during Adam and Eve time period through the memories of a sage in the animus. The closest I got was the Elysium/Underworld/Atlantis in odyssey dlc which were beyond incredible. I really don’t know what it is from AC that just keeps me so entwined with the story perhaps the music, combat, lore, character, design, trends, etc.

Pfft, agreed. AC3 is where I stopped. I can't be asked with the other ones, and I prefer AC1 in general because it understands the whole desynchronisation thing. Like, it's not HEALTH, it's synchronisation with Altair, and if you desync, it's 'cause you suck and have literally run through the memory so bad. AC2 was great, but fucked with the whole synchronisation thing by turning it into a health bar.
@pattybe
@pattybe 8 жыл бұрын
Yea and what makes it even worse is the fact that the combat mechanics have been so simplified so a 5 year old could understand it. I don't know how the really new ones are but in AC3 and Black Flag there are only like 3 or 4 different moves you can do when fighting enemies. In the older ones you had at least 8 moves you can pull. I swear it's such a downgrade now.
@HaliaStone
@HaliaStone 8 жыл бұрын
Which is precisely why I'm not bothering with the others. I hated the control system so much in AC3; I preferred the whole head, arms and legs thing that the triangle, square, X and circle were for, and the triangle being for Eagle vision, not the L3 stick. And I noticed both Altair and Ezio had so many different counter-attacks that Connor did.We just need a complete makeover of AC1, with enhanced 2016 graphics and the features of AC2 and AC3, with petting animals, assassinations from ledges and haystacks, etc, and the gameplay slightly altered so it isn't SO repetitive with the things needed to get the information for the target, although keep the sync bar as an alternative for a health bar, so there isn't a health bar and it better ties in with the Animus thing. Or another game with Altair instead of focus on another assassin and just shoving him - the Master Assassin and one of the best in history - in flashbacks. (Sorry, I'm an Altair fan ;))

Hell yea I love altair. Prolly my favorite assassin in the series. He's just so dark, and I loved how they revealed more of his past in revelations. Revelations should have used more gameplay as altair though

If i am not mistaken i think you are referring to the soundtrack that plays at the final mission when you walk inside masyaf castle just before you meet Al Mualim to fight him there are some vocals in Arabic on that one more like a poetry.
