For everyone that is struggling with this: I had trouble with this because I was not fast enough. Then I decided to take off my weapons and display my armor (I was hiding my chest amor before that). That helped me get the trophy because I got more speed. Also try starting with O button press to gain more speed. These tips helped me get the trophy. Good luck.

I did this 8 times and no trophy. then i made a quick save at the startpoint, returned to main title and reloaded the savegame, then it worked at the first try. (i play on PS5).

Exact same thing just happened to me. Tried it multiple times, no trophy. Quit to main menu then it popped first time. PS5 here too.

Only use the left stick for steering. Don’t push it forward while sliding.

@@85Sleepwalker additionally I recommend reloading the game (exit to menu and reload save) - struggled for half an hour, when I realised there are some rocks popping from under Eivor I reloaded game and did it clean first try

100%. Even odyssey. Such an amazing game and hugely underrated. I love all the systems they throw in the game. Building your settlement, collapsing the Order... makes the games so addictive, and so much more playable than if it were just 1) main quests 2) side quests 3) collectibles Like almost every other open world game seems to be.

@AlCeeProd2.0 the genre evolution divided the fans I think. Hardliners believed going too RPG was a bad thing, while the others didn’t mind it. I actually thought it made the series better. And I think Valhalla fully continues as an RPG, so I’m surprised you think it plays more like an action game; but I’m glad you like it.

I know this is a year after this video was posted but hopefully this helps someone if the trophy glitches. I came back to Norway after being in England and this trophy was glitched for me no matter how many times I tried to get it until after I closed my game and started it back up. Tried it once after restarting and got the trophy. Playing on PS5 if that helps! ☺️

@@msk9132 i suggest you collect everything first. 1 of the trophy is bugged the "completionist all the way" is bugged. If you miss 11 and 12 chest in jotunhiem you won't get the trophy. So its best to get that first before ANYTHING else. You don't want to play the game and then its bugged

I had the same issue then I started higher up than it popped even though it wasn't one continuous slid I was kind of running and dropping back down on first half

Just done this myself. Follow the video (save at the top, a manual save) and if it doesn't pop just restart the game. I tried 6 times and nothing, restarted the game (as in exit back to console/PC home menu then load the game again) and it worked. I did press B to start the slide, let go of B and kept the left stick pushed forward, turning when needed. Hope this helps! Edit: Clarified "restart" to be reload the game NOT restart from the beginning.

Doesn’t work for me. There are a couple more trophies that still don’t work: This one Silent Viking Equine attack I got these on PS4 and then I upgraded to PS5 and those disappeared. I tried to do them again, but they just won’t appear

No idea if this works but maybe it will help someone after doing this a heap of times and it not working I tried without pushing down on the thumb stick once I had started the slide and only steared left to right and the trophy poped on that attempt....

The achievement is for sliding so all you have to do is run and just before the system does the slide animation tap B for the slide and boom.

My Eivor keeps standing up at the 0:59 point so I'm guessing that resets the slide progress. There's no way to avoid this

There is a glitched trophy. Try it once you will not pop the trophy. Then close the game and try again and you will get the trophy to pop.

I done this s while back without assistance I found the highest point in Norway and worked out it was long and steep enough and then slid down and got the trophy. But what shocked me was only a small amount of XBX players have completed this why? It isn't hard.
