The events between Nagisa vs Karma and the two last episodes were very blurry in my memory, it's kinda refreshing watching those again through the reaction

It's probably bad for Nagisa to become an assassin when he grows up since it's gonna ruin him. Look at Korosensei as the Reaper, Irina, and Reaper 2.0, for example. Being an assassin took them into dark places and made their lives terrible. No matter how much assassination is a core part of this series, actually becoming one is a bad idea-- you could turn out like the Reaper, who knew nothing but death and betrayal, or Irina, who was always in a blood-soaked world and didn't know the warmth of the sun-- up until they both became teachers and joined the class and finally saw the good sides to humanity. The same goes for 2.0, who probably could have had a better life if the Reaper didn't teach him to become a full-fledged, coldhearted assassin. Despite being a talented assassin, becoming one wouldn't be good for him. Like how he considered becoming an assassin back in Round Two Time, he considered it out of desperation and as a last option because he truly thought he was good for nothing else. And as Korosensei mentioned, he noticed how Nagisa absolutely had no concerns for his own safety with his current mindset. And that, for sure, would have killed Nagisa eventually. So, that's why Nagisa becoming a teacher is the best thing for him.

As much as I wished for the students plan to be a success, I have a feeling that some higher ups already have made their own decision about Koro Sensei. And I do believe that Koro Sensei knows what is going to happen regardless of the actions of his students who are trying to save his life.
