One thing it doesn't protect against are the overpowered "stomps" from elites and soldiers. I'm at level 70 with 100% mile resistance and around 80% ranged resistance and I took on a level 85 mercenary and I was doing fine until he stomped me to death in one hit.

Dont be disappointed, it will still take damage from poison, even though the game displays 100% elemental resistance. But that are the rarest attacks on the game, optionally you can also make it poison resistant instead of fire resistant. or switch between both whenever needed. But fire is probably the much better choice, most of the time.

There is no such item. If you mean the Staff of Hermes Trismegistos, it has chance to ignore half damage. The Spartan javelin is the only melee weapon the game that has melee resistance.

I thought there was a need of making better builds and explain everything in the correct way, which nobody on KZfaq was in any way capable of. They were all only scratching on the surface of things. You should not start a channel if you are not willing to put all your energy and all your free time into it.

The resistances in the mastery perks seem to have diminishing returns and most of them seema complete waste compared to others. For example 1 point giving like 0.5%?

My mastery level is 140 something. I collected my points from Tombs and doing Atlantis multiple times, which is a lot faster and more efficient.

Epics are better.

You can get a guaranteed bracer, head, 2 swords, waist piece, and bow to make a good epic build with absolutely 0 grinding whatsoever. Head is an isu commander one you get from dlc Stolen isu bracer from dlc also Waist piece looted from ruined fort of Ajax Heitor's Harpe and Copycat sword are both guaranteed loot Bow is Bighorn bow, a helix store item that every player can get for free. The only parts you need to grind for would be legs and chest, and if that's still too much for you, you can just swap them in for 2 competent legendary pieces, with damage suffering.

You still get poison damage though, but that is a very rare damage type, much rarer than fire in my opinion. Although it will make little damage due to the remaining resistance.

Well I know that the nemesis build is better for damage.

You can only use either use the Myrmidon or Herakles engraving, not bot, I recommend to use the Herakles set 40% fire resistance on the torso, since fire is more common, especially when you use it yourself.

It's: mercenary hood with 24% warrior damage, 10% all damage, 50% crit damage, 20% crit chance while at full health. For gauntlets: a pair of Mercenary gloves 24% assassin damage, 100% crit damage while at full health, 20% elemental resistance, and 50% crit damage. Torso: Heavy Athenian Breastplate with 24% Warrior damage, 50% crit damage, 60% total armor, 20% warrior damage. Belt: a Bronze Belt with 24% hunter damage, 100% crit damage when at full health, 100% crit damage while low health and engraved with +5% crit chance and 25% crit damage while at full health. Then for legs its a pair of spartin buskins with 24% Assassins Damage, 100% crit damage while at full health, 100% crit damage while at full health and 20% crit chance while full health. Then i used your heitor's harpe suggestion and the glitched Bighorn Bow and on my secondary weapon i used an Assassin's dagger with 24% assassin's damage. 50% crit damage, 10% all damage and 20% warrior damage. I can pretty much one shot mercs with rush assassination with this build as the potential damage output is pretty insane

@@T7PDM Well, I checked the new build out. It's nice and I do have all the right equipment, but, I'm missing 4 of the engravings you used. Oh well. Thanks again as always. Guess I'm still stuck on my mediocre build dealing moderate damage and taking damage like a sponge even at level 52. A bear can still kill me in 2-3 hits if I can't dodge quick enough, which is frequently because I'm terrible at dodging and parrying sometimes. I just need a somewhat decent build that deals a good amount of damage while also helping with defense so I don't keep desynchronizing so frequently. Hard to find one when I don't have a lot of what's used in most of the builds.

@@sullyd.225 I have seen different values of the primary engravings reported by other players aswell. But its a rather rare issue and probably has to do wether you collected the pieces in an older version of the game. However to avoid this you should make epic builds, which are far superior, in this game anyway. The pieces for them can be acquired by using the blacksmith reload.

@@T7PDM Thank you for the information. I always seem to get the rare issues, and not the good ones. Oh well I suppose. I did see a video by Jordan Does that is a build from Epic gear. I did try it; however, finding the gear and weapons with the same perks has been very difficult. I have found one piece after 22 hours of gameplay. I may just need to give up. Update: I tried one of your most recent builds with epic gear and again my gear doesn’t have the same perks. I’d doubt the legitimacy of my game if I hadn’t bought it through PlayStation network. Anyways, I’ll keep trying. Perhaps a piece of armor can have variations in perks, or perhaps I’ll find other gear with the necessary perks. Quite the mystery.

The 40% fire resistance is applied to the torso and can be unlocked by the Herakles set. This was also shown during the video.

Its a bugged item that adds its DPS to your left melee weapon, and additionally to that it also uses the warrior damage when you shoot arrows. Just equip it and make sure to use your melee weapon with the higher damage value. (Check weapon pictures in the ingame selection, in the ingame selection its the right weapon, not the left)

Fire is the more prominent damage type, which occurs more often, but you can of course use poison resistance from the Myrmidon set aswell. There is no natural hazard of getting poisoned other than from enemies.

There are some attacks that always deal damage: - Lions in cages - Snakes - Jump axe attack The cyclops moves aside from melee damage are probably one of them. I have not tested it. But yu can completely block all of those with "Isu enhance" from the Dikastes set. The bighorn bow is a bugged item, which amplifies your left mele weapon by a factor of 1.6 it is one of the biggest bugs in the game. You need to get this item. it almost doubles your damage. That is the setbonus from the Herakles set. The Herakles set is immune to burning, it unlocks the 40% fire resistance as "reduced" version as an engraving.

The fire resistance engraving is unlocked by the Herakles set. The unlocked engravings are a downgrade from the original setbonus, which was 100%.

Snakes always deal a fixed amount of damage, you can not get immune from that. You will take no damage from normal arrows You will take no damage from fire arrows You will take very little damage from poison arrows.

Damage is very very low here compared to my other builds. Its far from being the best. You can do much better builds with epic items and only focusing on melee resistance. This build has 100% fire resistance. And you can also get 100% elemental resistance, if you drop something else. The 200% damage on fire is useless, since you will lose so much damage by other means, when you wear the set. You could get way more damage with epic items that work permanently than the fire bonus. How often are you on fire.....

You can only get it from the Athenian commander on Delos durign the quest. You can play the quest again in a new game plus. I recommend to watch the unique items guides so you dont dismantle any unique items againl.

The setbonus is immune to burning, the engraving you unlock will be only 40% fire resistance. Almost every setbonus comes with a downgraded engraveable version of it.

Legendary set perks can be used with reduced efficiency on other gear, it will be only 15% all resistances and it has to be engraved on Torso pieces. It is not possible to get 100% range resistance by using epic sets. Just learn to dodge, its super easy and super efficient in this game.

Neither use armor or health in this game, dude, its a total waste of an engraving. Resistances make you completely invincible once you hit 100% in any category and that is the way to go.
