@@aziraaziz4307 Happened to me just last week, I was going around collecting the Pilgrim set, and on the way to one of the locations a piece was at found an NPC that was just messing around with some hides or something, but the game was playing music like I was in a hostile area. I had Ikaros check to see if the person was a Huntress or something, it said Elder but it highlighted her like she was an enemy. So I snuck up and assassinated her, and then it told me to confirm a cultist kill lol.

I agree. Most of the legendary gear got 2 perks at most and need the full set for the special one. Epic ones got 3 and you can engrave as you like.

Cant say anything about the highest difficulty, but at least on Hard the game is still pretty easy, its a design thing. Only times I died was because I was overconfident

@@gmr9701 I played on hard .But some mercenaries can be very hard to beat although the same level... In common cannbe easy but not at all

depends on play style, for example, going full dps stealth build the pirate set is the best in game for that. But yeah in most other cases epic is better than legendary stuff

You just start a new game plus with a new build and play it again with a strong character and a different playstyle. You will keep all your progress and gear when you do that. The game is an endless sandbox with near unlimited posibilities for your builds. Besides that the sidequests are really interesting, dont mix up quests and contracts. Contracts are auto generated. You just keep getting stronger and make better builds, that is the principle of an RPG.

@@T7PDM Don't get me wrong, what you're doing with builds is amazing, but I got the game when it came-out in 2017. At the time, the Max level was 50 & I finished that original content and thought it was a great game. Beautiful and well written. Then Ubisoft did an update where the Max level was 70 and it announced DLCs, so I thought: ''Ok. More content, hence 20 more levels makes sense, so I finished the DLCs, but now at 99 levels, even the DLCs aren't enough content''. I'm replaying the game only to see the 4K/60fps PS5 visual candies, but at Level 34, I'm speed running through the content (because I know where the Kosmos cultists are) and with 65 levels to go, it's obvious that I'll have nothing to do way before that, except mind-numbing contracts & errands. I'm thinking that I should buy an XP booster real quick! ;P

Epic items will generate a duplicate item. You have two of them, and the collected one will match your level. The older one can be kept or sold as you wish. For some builds it is useful to have to unique tems of the same type. Like two spartan javelins or two minotaur maces.

You dont need to upgrade the set more than every 20 or 30 levels, dude. just upgrade your weapons. Use the transmog to apply a different look to your gear.

That is from the Ares Madness ability. The enhanced version of Battlecry of Ares. There are a lot of crazy things around that ability, including an invincibility glitch, check it out: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ft98faSoucmpc40.html I linked you the whole glitch playlist, just in case.

The whole set upgrades when you collect the last piece. You only need a new game plus if you need to upgrade them again and for the solo items. (mainly weapons). Of course you can also just pay for the upgrades, if you can afford it. But most people are struggling with that on higher levels.

The maximum upgrade costs are for 5 levels. So if you did not activate level scaling you almost have to pay the full price for upgrading every item. You can of course just do another new game plus on maxmium level scaling to avoid the costs. The main money sink in the game is Hephaistos workshop which will cost you 10 to 15 million if you upgrade every engraving.

It was clearly explained this only works when collecting the last piece of the set and when you recollect the items during new game plus. You can get all your legendary items upgraded fro free, but not at the blacksmith.

The set upgrades when you collect the last piece of the set to your current level. During every playtrhough. So you get it once in your normal playthrough and level it up again to level 99 when you do a new game plus. And all the single items will also be at your level, when you get them again. make sure to set level scaling to maximum, so the enemies that drop them match your level.

Also not to feel dumb can you put a bonus set buff on another set or at least can you level up a whole set at once

The whole set only upgrades all other set items when you collect the last piece. This can be done in every playthrough. Every new game plus. Just use a new game plus to upgrade all your legendary items, without spending resources.

@@T7PDM I know I may be annoying but does the new game plus level up all your gear to your level including ones that were stored or those which were stored will be teleported to your inventory (also do all the abilities that you have in the dlc be in the normal game because I don't have a dlc please don't get mad if I'm annoying I just don't know a lot about it)

Totally, you can do all the easy quests for XP again, get up to 76 ability points from all the tombs and Atlantis locations again and also upgrade your legendary sets for free. Its a no brainer. Alone for the ability points it is totally worth it. And to upgrade the gear atleast one ng+ is really recommended. That will save you millions of materials.

The other set items will upgrade to the level of the last item, which is ideally your level if you enabled heavy level scaling. You have to collect all of them again. Every item you collect will be at the level of the enemy you get them from.

You have to collect all items in the new game plus, not some before and some after. Maybe you missed a confirmation or whatever. Its definitely working, error must be on your side.

They replace your existing ones with a higher level version, that is the whole point of this video.

This game is incredibly long, if you dont rush through it, and if you have the DLCs you can reach level 99 easily in your first playthrough. In a new game plus you can collect all gear again to get it to your level again. I hope you realized that you will upgrade legendary gear in your inventory for free and not only the ones you wear.

You have not understand the whole video. There are different ways of free upgrades even throughout your first playthrough, when you complete a whole set all items get upgraded. When you recollect an item during new game plus it will upgrade again and be at your level. It will be overwritten with a higher level. Set enemy level scaling to maximum. The items will be at your enemies level which should be the same as yours, if you enable this option.

No that is not possible, but it isnt that expensive either since you only have to pay for the last 5 levels if you upgrade it once on level 99. At that level you have an abundance of resouces anyway. if you did not waste them for the recollectible free to upgrade stuff, then you will have enough materials left for e erything you purchased from the store.

That sounds interesting, what dificulty did you play before? Heavy is not a difficulty name. You probably mean all items you collect are level 99. So it did not change anything you already owned!?

@@T7PDM na its the setting that sets everything to your lv ....i leveled all the way to lv 99 and chose to do everything all over again if you have any low lv legendary gear on the game it changes it to what ever level your at....and i see it as a difficulty not sure why but its the option near that choice that makes enemies either your lever or lower

@@T7PDM btw what you do is get to lv 99 and if all of your gear is low lv legendary wise you switch what I mentioned above and just redo the entire game all over again every drop you get is lv 99 and you dont even have to upgrade any of it...either way upgrading stuff is also fun too

You get 1000 materials each for dismantling weapons on level 99, and there is nothing left to spend it on. Everybody calling it a grind is just dumb, you will have millions of everything, just by selling and dismantling. 40k drachme for every item sold, 1000 materials for every item dismantled. I just played for over 2000 hours, never needed mats to upgrade, etc...Thats why you are watching this.

@@T7PDM 2000 hours damn... I'm LV60 now after 60 hours of playing. By the way, do you know if starting New Game Plus has any benefits? Normally one would get bonus on currencies or material for example but for this game it seems like the only thing you can do is change the story outcome and gender. Would be cool if I kept all my abilities and skill points so I could restart leveling and getting easy level ups since I'd start from LV1 again, you know what I mean?

Totally possible for armor, since the armor count is really not so important. But for weapons, you need the DPS....

I'm only playing it on normal but I was level 42 before I upgraded my gear for the first time. I had to level seven weapons, legendary spear and nikolas sword.

You have to collect the full sets or recollect items in new game plus. Like explained. You have more than one posibility to do that.
