It’s New Joyzee…. The “Garbage State”! Ken grew up amongst the elites of the Jersey Shore, far far away from the Secaucus DUMPS.😉 The pungent smell of NJ always kept us youngsters making fart jokes on our trips to visit (the even filthier - PRE-Mayor Rudy Giuliani) the “culture” of NYC. Of course, passing through the “pristine” 🤨 Red Light District of 1970’s 42nd. Street was also interesting. All kidding aside, Ocean City is a great place to visit.

I can’t believe you scanned his DNA with the drone and learned all of his passwords to his online streaming services and shopping sites. You actually were able to peep into his soul and see all his secrets with that drone. What was even more amazing was how you could see the soy milk in his refrigerator had expired last week and he’s been wearing the same underwear for a week because his washing machine broke down. It’s so amazing what you can do with an FPV camera drone these days.

Some people go nuts over drones, happened to me and I assume nearly all drone pilots out there. Had a guy take my drone once, almost dropped it, it was a new DJI Air 3.

The assault was the running at you. It became battery when he made contact. And both of those aggravated and are aggravated by his entering the vehicle. You know, car-jacking, like the super tough-guy example of peak Gamma personallity trying hard to be an Alpha. Which means next to nothing if you're secure and comfortable in yourself. I hope he catches all those charges.

I’ve only had this happen once before. If anything much much more often I am asked about it because people (of all age ranges) are curious, and just haven’t seen an fpv drone before. One time I was flying in a park (mind you this was 2 years ago, 16 at the time, 18 now) when all of a sudden some pissed off lady made it her mission to stop me because she thought I was violating her privacy and she said the drone was too loud. For safety reasons, I always fly far away from people, but she came to me. She the. proceeded to throw a water bottle and shoe at the drone. Then I landed, tried to talk things out, only for her to call the cops. Out of fear that I’d get in trouble for going about my day and leaving the scene before explaining to the cops the situation, I decided to stay. They de-escalated it and once they left, I let the cop borrow one of my old pairs of goggles, and it blew his mind.

Almost four minutes in, and you can see the reactions of most people, and they're not giving a damn at all, not upset, almost nothing more then 'oh, they're flying a drone' and no interest beyond that. And then you meet a lady who was so excited to see it flying, and was not at all anything like any of the stereotypical drone fans. :) Cop: "No, I want to watch",... He understands how good the evidence will be. 😁

I would love to a full psychological assessment of these people. Just what is triggering them about drones? Probably some deep seated fear of being exposed, insufficient, and/or socially enforced artificial modesty (sexual repression issues). Nothing actually to do with the drone and camera in reality

I'm soooo glad you went to police station to report on him, he is NOT supposed to do that to you and your mom and to other guy that was with you, he was very wrong to get in golf cart and tried to do something to other guy that was with you and he is so wrong to throw beverage at you and it was on mother's Day, how so disrespectful of him do that in front of your mom, very disrespectful! I was soooo pissed off after 7:10 timecode. I mean we do get a bit mad sometimes, but they really went too far. I'd NEVER forgive someone who threw an object to my drone! Same goes for shooting the drones out, endangering the safe operation of the UAV and the safety of the bystanders (though Avata is too small to cause a significant damage during the crash), in my opinion. These things cost a lot and that has been a close call that the object didn't hit your drone.

Wouldn't knocking the drone out of the air like that guy tried do by throwing his bottle at it be considered a felony? I am pretty sure he'd go to jail for that. Drones are classified the same as passenger aircraft in that regard, if my understanding of the FAA regulations is correct based on my Part 107 training and certification.

Yes and we should be prosocuting people like these for Interfering with flight crew. It is a federal crime and can bring severe penalties, including years in prison and massive fines.

@@CydFSA100%. I have a card (two actually) printed and “laminated” (with packing tape since a Karen or Ken (I call male Karen’s Ken) is likely to damage or take one). Anyway, the card outlines the FELONIES that apply when interfering with the pilot of an aircraft which includes “drone” by federal and state law. In my state if you interfere with a UAS you get nailed with a MINIMUM $5,000 (+ costs) civil judgement to the owner of the drone. I also wear a high viz that says verified drone pilot AND have a police body cam running. Hopefully I never have an issue beyond handing that card to someone and saying “once I’m safely in the ground I’ll be glad to talk to you”. But if I do, they’ll be hard pressed to plead ignorance and the video will show exactly what happened. And I will demand that charges are pressed. I’ll probably settle the civil matter for a grand out of court…. Depending on how egregious they were.

I mean I have a DJI mini SE for almost 3 years now. I thoroughly enjoy what I got very much. That said this video was freaking awesome the avata seems surreal!
