This is a video featuring the SEALs going in an underwater mission to make an enemy submarine get to the surface, then assault it and escape while trying to defend from the rest of the enemy forces and getting to the helicopter in the Hunter Killer mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (stylized as Call of Duty: MW3) is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games, with assistance from Raven Software, and published by Activision. The game was released worldwide in November 2011 for Microsoft Windows, the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii. It is the third installment in the Modern Warfare saga, a direct sequel to 2009's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and the eighth Call of Duty installment.

Fun fact: in reality repelling an assault like this would be easy for any submarine. All the submarine has to do is switch on active sonar. It's so insanely loud that it will kill or incapacitate everyone outside the hull.

Sure if you know somebody is coming. But the premise here is that when a submarine switches to passive mode there is an window of opportunity that can be exploited.

In all fairness, wow the style of this game is much more realistic, the actual substance is not. For example, this mission is so ridiculous it might as well be science fiction. It's not even close to "reality"

It wont do anything. Tons of people swim in sea where there is lot of submarines passing by that activate their sonar. And nothing bad (black sea, nordic sea, mediteranian sea etc)

Yes, this tunnel in New York is called the Holland Tunnel. Obviously during this futuristic fighting it was crushed at a number of points, and the water came in

its disappointing that they didn't use the CW/FM sonar sounds and went with the archaic pinging like its a WW2 sub. I think it would have been awesome and would add a eerie factor as the sub passed by.

@@amineboussettine3774 Yes, two man can Kill 120 people on a submarine. Big enough explosive charge on the ballast tanks while they are under way? yes. Gas attack inside? yes. But in a firefight in an enclosed space? nah.
