Hi Matt, could you please talk about 2K nerfing cards in MF? The community in outrage for nerfing both Collector Level (Amethyst) Sheamus and Gunther, removing their "Sting Like a Bee" badge. This is not good, some spent money and or time to get those only to get them back to the shelf.

Your right wwe2k is never up to date and they can't use wrestlers that leave or get cut . In wwe2k22 didn't they retain wrestlers from wwe2k20 because wwe had had so many roster cuts. If this games goes totally next gen I'm out 😅

Yet they make us use up limited caw spots to update an attire with things in game already. Either give us unlimited roster space or save us from wasting a spot to update attires. The only limitation we should have is system storage capacity

Because people are willing to. I ask consumers why spend all of the money on this years game when you know you’re going to to do the same next year? Why not buy 2k24 and keep that until 2k26 or 27 is released and there are some noticeable changes to the game. Instead most fans of annual releases buy the game year after year and then complain every year that it’s not different enough to justify a full price tag

I'm in the same boat, set up a whole universe with custom shows, ppvs and new titles and then downloaded about 60 wrestlers but after trying to get more my game keeps crashing. Literally can't download anything now and even deleted some stuff cuz I thought maybe it was too many custom images and nope no matter how much I delete I can no longer download anything anymore so I just deleted the game and don't know if I'll play it again.

If Sony & Microsoft were still going to be making games for last gen, they should have used COVID to delay the new gen systems and kept making games for the last gen systems releasing the PS5/XBOX Series X in 2022/2023. Consider this, we are 11 years into the last gen console and 4 years into the current gen consoles. 7 years between the release of the PS4 and the PS5. Using that timeline, the PS6/new XBOX will be out around 2027/2028, which is only 3-4 years away. All I ask for the PS6/new XBOX is they embrace backward compatibility, whether that means having an extra disc slot that can read PS1/PS2/PS3/PS4/PS5 discs while the other slot can only read PS6 discs, etc.

I used to work at Game Stop, the talk is eventually Nex Gen systems will only allow new games to be downloaded. They make more money that away. People can't buy used games they know if they want them they have to pay and download them. I like buying the actual disk so I can trade in for next year's copy but think that's going away probably PS6 version and next Xbox series.

i only ask for 2 thing: Fix ref Ai, the ref is either in the way of the action OR slow on the count due to transition animation to count a pin. 2-Fix ambulance & coffin matches because the button mashing option is broken on the Ai side. And of possible NERF instant recovery or remove it in 2k25. And those stupid stances while they are at it lol

I myself feel 100 slots is not enough, cause I put wrestlers from early 90s wwe, attitude era WWE , classic Mexican wrestlers, classic Japanese wrestlers, some lucha underground wrestlers, some WCW, and I don't have enough. So I much rather have rock as persona so I can delete his caw and use it for other wrestlers. For people like me who feel 100 slots is not enough, will pay for the persona cards, but not those exaggerated prices

That is actually very true and I do totally agree on that. From my perspective, yes 100 slots is a little too low plus the fact that you have to worry about image space as well and the prices are pretty absurd. But if u think about it, it's not ideal to really pay 30 to 40 dollars on just 1 card like Becky and Gable where as Roman and probably rock are gonna be at a lower price. To me that just makes 2k even more greedy for money instead of doing thing to actually like benefit themselves as well as the players. Like if you think about it, if they change the prices on all the persona cards and made them all available in either My Faction shop or even release them as a superstar u can get in the normal in game shop, and stopped worrying about money and worked on all the bugs and stuff in the game, they could grow an even bigger fan base of people playing the 2k games

I'd pay $2 tops for them, especially considering they don't include any additional features like new moves, entrances, title celebrations, etc. The fact people think paying almost as much as a complete DLC pack for just an attire highlights why the entire purchasing model is broken in the gaming industry.

its likely not a standard superstar, as in a rendered head with CAW clothing. its probably a fully rendered playable model made by another team. Its also to artificially increase the value of the card, as its just manbun roman if you could toy with it. (see barbie with a new belt from the simpsons episode)

I get that sometimes it can be a 'it's me' thing, but this game must be broken. I was Hogan vs Seth. I beat him down, he was red all over, head bleeding. I must have given him 20 leg drops and at least 10 rollups. He kicked out every time and in full stunned mode. Then he hits me twice, pedigree, and curb stomp and pins me. My body or head was not even red. I find that very hard to believe. This was 'easy' level.

The mode itself is a lot of fun. The grind and push to make me spend money, as well as hiding characters or attires behind it is annoying and frustrating and why I don’t buy the games year after year. But Proving Grounds, Weekly Towers, Live Events have all been fun game modes to play

Sure 10 dollars here and there isn't much now. But wait until they start making more characters we got by default only unlockable through myfaction. I haven’t spent anything on the mode. I purchased Roman and Chad for a total 200,000 mfp in the past two weeks. Still had to change Gables entrance to the Ready, willing, gable entrance. Not sure why it wasn’t by default. I just don’t want to spend any more on the game. When i put down the money for the Wrestlemania edition, i didn’t plan to pay more for cards in one mode or alt attires with no extras for all modes..lol

The issues i have with MF is some of the Live Challenges are ridiculously hard, and i cant truly see the point of the Persona Cards when the creators out there can do just as good a job and you can then edit them. with regards to the DLCs personally i think they should just be released on Day1 (Yeet) ultimately they are nothing more than character models, this would also allow users to have "full" rosters from day1 if they choose to buy all the DLCs or they can pick and choose what DLCs they want

My worry with the MyFaction trend is that this might be a taste of what’s to come in future releases. It wouldn’t surprise me if they eventually make some main card wrestlers only unlockable through grinding in MyFaction or selling separately at these ridiculous prices (yes, $10/£10 for one character is ridiculous). If this happens I’m out 😢

the work around is just put the persona card attire on to the normal model as an alternative attire i know this don't help with the hair but at least you will have the attire. it would suck if the game was held back by last gen consoles.

Around $10 for a persona card is the max I'd pay. I think it's not too much, but could be like $6 for a sweet spot. I'd buy all the persona cards if they were $6 each.
