Time lapse of my putting together a Harbor Freight Trailer. 1195 lb. Capacity 48 in. x 96 in. Heavy Duty Folding Trailer.

It took about 2.5 hours doing it alone. I had also run a Half Marathon that morning in the mountains.

pro tip: watch movies at kaldroStream. Been using them for watching lots of of movies lately.

Like the edit where he realizes the tongue won't unfold until the axle tube is taken off lol. Also, how long di those bearings last with the cosmoline grease to prevent only corrosion?

I just built mine this weekend. The gobs of that blue crap I had to dig out... Brake Kleen was having a difficult time removing it. So was Carb Cleaner. Of course now I see that heated mineral spirits would probably be best since its like a waxy substance. Disgusting stuff. I wish they had simply packed it with hi-temp bearing grease like I just did. A lot of extra work.

I'm having a hard time on mine as far as the castle nuts go. Once the flat washer is in place, the cotter pin will not fit into the spindle. Did you place the cotter pins in the spindle to hold the castle nuts on or isn't it required?

Would love your help figuring out the various bolts. I have the same 62648 trailer. My fasteners don't match the index of parts on the back page (p26). I have 94 small nuts, 66 smallest bolts, 12 slightly taller bolts same dia (which comes to 78)... Then 2 taller and thicker bolts, 1 longer, and 4 large carriage bolts = that equal 81 bolts. Plus 4 round-head bolts equaling 85. The red frame gets connected with the small bolts. The 8-in angle connects to the frame with #36 bolts. The angled tow rails connect to the 8-in angle with what screw? The diagram calls out #42... just confused. Will look up M12 x 80, M12x25, M10x25, M10 x 30.... and try to figure out the differences. Plus the blue plastic ring on the nuts stop the bolt threads from continuing. Do I use pliers and a wrench to force the threads through the plastic ring?

I particularly liked at about 1:39, when you couldn't figure out where the folding wheel sections went. I understand the directions are not particularly clear.

If the 2 halves were square, they should have matched up when the trailer was folded. It appears that one half of the trailer is a parallelogram instead of a square.

I built mine with it standing up since I had just painted it and didn't wish to have it scratched. In my opinion, if it's not entirely square at that time, it certainly will be when (if?) plywood is applied.

is the 48x96 inches the length of the bed or the whole length from end to tongue?

I hate this guy...! Just kidding i watched the shadow of the tree as he was building this... I will take a guess before i look at his time if he posted his time. 4 hours? I just looked at his time. Now i really hate you. Truly magnificent... In just 2 1/2 hours. You didn't need to punch me in the nose, by saying you ran 13 miles that morning. Are you an engineer...?

he had the front hitch part under the axel than cute video and he must have undid it and removed to top of it lol some of these video only confuse folks.

Loose it. Loose it to what end? If he took it upon himself to lose the music, that would be another matter entirely, but I'm not sure how he will be able to loose it.
