I have built hundreds of engines, Cummins , Cat , Detroit, over the last 45 years in the trade, it's great to see two old school craftsmen working with their hands, no nitrile gloves needed ! Clean work and great attention to detail.

Back in 1986 I drove a tryaxel it was a Detroit with two turbos feeding a huge blower with a 15 speed and two speed rears and did it ever work loved that truck

I would love to sit down and have a cold beer with these guys. I bet the amount of knowledge they have is unbelievable.

I watched some more. Appears fitted l/h cam into r/h but with correct gear on first attempt? Then cuts to correct cam installed. Please prove me wrong. Bashing an 8V71 cam in with any hammer is a big no. No advise on location of cam bearing retainer clips. On top or underneath? And why?
