I realize that I am coming in here 9 months after the posting of this video it is true none the less. Aaron and you just put a 1,000 piece puzzle together without a picture on the box that the puzzle came in. I congratulate both of you for this massive undertaking for a project that you hadn't done before.

A little thought Aaron; when this car was built at the Bowling Green Cadillac factory, the transmission/differential/torque tube were installed as an assembly- along with the engine and front suspension crossmember. But you and Em are the people for this

When I joined the AF and got to my tech school in Amarillo. I starred at the parts that went into a jet engine!!!!!! But after a hundred rebuilds? I still looked at the TO’s. Your trannie has me saying oh my god! I can’t really build stuff without directions! Good job guys!!!!! I mean darn good job. 😊

At the end of the day it’s back together, and what’s the worse that could have happened, you take it to the transmission guy who’d tear it back apart and reassemble it for you two. But you took your time and double and triple checked it. And it seems to do what it’s gotta do, Aaron didn’t lose his marbles and toss things, which could have happened, and if Aaron’s not careful that transmission shops gonna offer him a job. LOL

My Grandfather was a mechanic back in the 1950's and 60's. One of my biggest regrets in life was that I never got to learn from him. He was my hero. One story our family tells is a customer once brought a car with a transmission issue to his shop. My grandfather tried to tackle it himself. He did it but swore he would never do another transmission again. Sharing this story is my way of letting you know how much respect I have for you guys. Even if it doesn't work when installed, you have my respect.
