Also sometimes the dollar tree has little mini battery operated fans, also at times they have T shirts even small pillows, because Alot of times they have to sleep on the hard ground. Just a few ideas! 👍

What a kind and generous heart you have...everyone should follow your example. I'm sure the gentleman will appreciate every item. There are reflective blankets made out of an insulated thin material that are made for first aid kits. They are thin and easy to include and will keep the body heat in...good to keep in your car too in case you are stuck on the highway when it's cold. If $ stores don't carry them army/navy or scout stores might have them. Blessings for what you do.

It's great u help out homeless. I always see them stand on the corners of the street I always give them $3 or $4 each time

I do think I remember you hauling it. For next time maybe get some more stuff and make him another first aid kit with bandages, gauze, tape,triple antibiotic ointment.band aids.i don't know. Need to know if he has a blanket. You did good girl!!! Especially it being just out of the blue. It breaks my heart that there are people out there with no place to go, family. Good bless y'all

I saw a elderly man last year living in a tent by the river where we live. He was there for weeks!! I went to Walmart bought him water and some stuff to eat. I had to!! Sherri you and your husband are blessings for caring enough to help the less fortunate. Mabey in time he can pay it forward. Five years ago my husband had to have a liver and kidney transplant. If not for friends and family I don't know what we would have done. Since he has recovered we have payed it forward to help others going through hard times. You never lose helping someone.

Also in the winter time we go down to the treeline in front of the bridge in our town,where a lot of the homeless live and we tie scarvs,blankets,hats,gloves and hand warmers around the limbs of the trees. They love this,several have told me they look forward to that all year. Several families do it and you can get a lot of that stuff for sale super cheap after Christmas.
