I assembled the frame last night and this morning i attached the saw and had it vertical and was unsure on how to get it horizontal. So I went up stairs and got on line and found this you tube video. I skipped over to where I was and saw you flip it to horizontal then just watched the remainder of your video and it jumped me over any uncertainties. Great Job! Thank you.

Like others, I found this video to be extremely helpful. Just bought my Dewalt today, 4/26/2023, and this saved me a bunch of time and removed a bunch of doubt as to how to proceed. Haven’t turned it on, yet, but it’s assembled and calibrated. Table was dead flat as best I could tell, btw. No issues.

Nice video. I just bought the second one of these saws and I love them. Neither had any problem with table top flatness. I just assembled and claibrated my second one today, and it is so perfect. Only adjustment it needed was a little on the fence, squaring it to the blade and miter slot. Just a few thousandths out. But now it is all ready to go, did a test cut and it was perfectly square and parallel all the way down the length. You just cannot go wrong with these saws! My old one got sold because I thought I needed a larger saw. Didn't after all!!! So after a year and half, I sold the big saw and got another one of these Dewalts. You just cannot go wrong with them.

So glad I found your video last night. I bought the saw today and followed your presentation step by step. You made putting the saw together a breeze. Much nicer to follow your instructions than to read the manual. Thanks for taking the time!

I upgraded to this saw from a rinkydink, Craigslist Craftsman which constantly had me in fear of losing a limb or rib. This saw blew me away with its power and the ease with which I could rip lumber. The reason I went with this saw was the rack and pinion fence, however it is because of the fence I received that this set is going back. The two known issues with no real fixes for the fence are related to aligning it perpendicular to the table. If the fence is leaning away from the blade, the workaround I've seen is adding a shim to the back of the fence. Now if the fence is leaning towards the blade, like the one I received, you're out of luck. I looked everywhere for a solution but found none and decided to exchange this for another set which, I'm hoping, has no issues. Thanks for taking the time to put this amazing video together. It helped me set up and even better, helped me figure out how everything went back in the box!

New to having a table saw. Opened it up & the directions for putting it together had a lot to be desired especially since one of the Bags of hardware was torn open and I had loose pieces all over. This really helped also with you showing all the wonderful features this saw has. Thanks a bunch

I own this saw and you did a great job of describing the features. I loaned my saw to a friend. He did not realize the fence locked and disassembled the fence guides to figure out why it was so sticky! Oops! Should have had him watch your video! All went back together so no harm done. The dust collection with just the lower large port connected to a dust collector/vac is excellent and even better when both lower and upper ports are used. A very nice saw indeed!

A+ video! Read the reviews and bought the saw. I intentionally left the assembly instructions in the box and assembled the saw stand and mounted the saw in a half hour. This saw exceeded my expectations and I didn't use a caliper or micrometer to measure the radial runout or deck flatness.. im not building a spaceship or piano with this saw. I bought this saw to install an elevator in my outhouse and build homes in general.😊.

Quick note :) If the plate still wobbles use the four little blacke adjustment screws. This is what they are for. To adjust the insert perfectly to the table ;)

This is a text book perfect video. It is an example of how a review should be done. I have a table saw on back order and its a King Canada. Have not got it yet. However I am checking out videos on all types. One must for me is one with a stand on wheels. In my mind I envisioned assembling the stand and then how am I a 76 year old weakling going to lift a 70 lb table saw on top of the stand. However from this video one builds the stand and then attaches the stand to the table saw still on the ground and then easily with stand lift it up. What a great idea.

I’m literally putting my saw together watching your video. It may seem strange but the flat side of the wheel hub appears to go to the inside. It fits the tube perfectly. Virtually no wobble happens with it assembled this way. Thank you for doing the video. You’re right the manual is bad. 😆

Great video. Worked me through the process successfully, thank you. One tip I'd offer. The push button to activate the blade, instead of suggesting a place for a padlock over that switch, it is meant to store the allen wrench supplied with the saw, it fits perfectly!

I've had one of these for six years. For five of those six years, it was very accurate. But evidently something fell on it while it was folded, and now the whole thing needs to be realigned. This gave me some insight into how it goes together.

Great video! There are adjustable stops at 90 and 45 that are really easy to use. If your top isn’t perfectly flat I would 90 on the right side of the blade versus the left as this is where your material will typically be. Obviously better if it’s perfect but it is a job site saw.

The latest (2022) tables are slightly different (with oval silver legs). They are already assembled and all that is necessary is to clip the cross rails on. Make sure that the arrows on the cross rails point point forward and the left hand one engages with two metal clips which prevent the cross rails from moving when the until is tipped up for moving about. I put penny washers and spring washers on the bolts to spread the load and prevent the supplied washers sinking into the slots. Leave the rubber feet on the saw unit because there is a central hole to accommodate them. You will find you will have four nuts left over because they are no longer required because there are tapped bosses for them to fit into and you will need a 13mm socket to tighten them.

21:00 Use the Allen wrench it came with through the lock! It's the perfect size. It won't be a "lock" per se, but at least an extra step to prevent the lock from getting flipped up

I bought this saw and as noted by your commentary and comments stating the instructions are not very clear or diagrams easily recognized due to poor print quality. Another video I watched pointed out that everything on this saw is adjustable including that wobbly blade cover using a Phillip’s screw driver, pretty sweet.

Watched this video before I bought the saw a few weeks ago and today I bought it and like you said the instructions were not that great. I watched your video again since I had the 2 little screws left over and was wondering where they went haha they were for joining the two half's of the stand together (watching you do it found that out ...thank you) and saved me time going through the owners manual for how to store the wrenches and rifing knife. I unboxed and assembled this jobsite table saw this morning. instructions are vague, but it's not too difficult.

I tried to purchase this saw almost 2 years ago, and unfortunately, COVID Shut down production, and all the box stores were out before Christmas. Fast foward to A week before Black Friday 2021, and Lowes has them on the endcap, so I grabbed one while I was calling my wife for permission. Salesman indicated they started out on Friday with 6, there were 3 left, and he assured me they would be gone by the weeked, two weeks prior to Black Friday. So I am happy I got MINE. I'll wait until Christmas to open it, along with a top of the line 12 inch Sliding Miter saw. Dewalt of course. Two tools I have been waiting for, dreaming about, and drooling over. Covid be damned, I got them both, on sale, and including my Military Discount, I saved enough to get a few other things. That will teach my wife to go to Florida without me. Also, get a tripod. One handed is difficult at best.

Great video, I pretty much followed right along and didn't even open the manual! A lot of manual leave part of the assembly up to interpretation, sometimes forcing you to try something one way, only to have to take it apart and flip a part over several steps later, when things don't line up correctly.
