Great pickup on those gear doors, I made that mistake on my first A380 but am in the process of making another one with the gear doors done correctly

The Revell box with the model only includes the British Airways decal sheet. We got the ANA decals from an italian decal manufacturer called TB Decals. The decal sheet includes all required decals except the correct registration. The fit of the decals is not great and applying the big decals requires a lot of patience and post treatment. In the end however all the work pays off and the result is amazing :D

True, however if you use good quality tape and ensure it is firmly pressed on during painting you get pretty sharp edges with minimal spill :)

For the straight part just align them with the panel lines, for the curved parts you can copy the decal sheet, cut out the shape of the curved decals on the copy and use it as a guide for cutting out the masking tape

when i made my a380 the 2 rear gears (on the fuselage) were too high up while the one on the wings were way lower

Where and how to get the ANA decals??? I purchased the Emirates 1/144 kit and I'd loved to make the blue Honu one. ^^

We got them from TB Decals. But they are hard to apply as their fit is quite bad. But with a bit of post treatment you can make a quite nice model :) Decals are available at Giodecals too but we dont recommend that shop as he often takes the money and don't ship the decals.

@@AileronVideos tried seeing around, and those shipped from Japan are abusively expensive. Probably the ones you used may have been meant for another plastic kit manufacturer, and sometimes proportions don't combine in between kits of different makers, made with different research and/or proportion. Thanks so much for the info and your insights, will think about it.

I bought them in my local hardware store from their store brand. They're not too expensive, I'd suggest you look around in your local store for something similar. I prefer the smallest ones as the larger ones have a higher clamping force that can damage the model.
